This nifty little thing will clean things nothing else will. I've tried soap and water with a scrub brush on my fridge and other cleaners as well. Nothing takes out those fingerprints like Magic Eraser. It also takes out the crayon marks from my children's craft table. You can whiten shoes and clean fabric lunchboxes. Beware, because it may take paint off walls or make shiny surfaces dull.

I'm buying a box of these to clean the grout. After scrubbing and cleaning with bleach, I take out the last bits of black residue with Magic Eraser. You've never seen how clean your grout can get until you've used Magic Eraser.

UPDATE: My brother told me he thought I should take before and after photos of the grout, as the difference was dramatic. I have uploaded the photos for you to see above.

I absolutely love Magic Erasers. I am ordering my second order, so I've used almost 24 of them. I had the worst grout in my kitchen, and these erasers did wonders on cleaning it. I use it on my woodwork around doors, and on all white doors, etc. It gets off dirt and stains amazingly well. I recommend it.

I love this product. I love how well it works. You can get dirty grimy fingerprints off of almost anything. Other reviewers are correct though when they say it will clean the paint right off the walls.

My young son was coloring with Marks a lot permanent marker on a poster he had to make and went right off the page onto my table. A little bit of rubbing with one of these things and it came right off. It did not take much elbow grease to clean it right up.

Well worth the money.

I have no idea how the Magic Eraser works, but I do know it works better than anything I have ever used. Add a little water a soft touch and the toughest stains will magically disapper. I know it works on soap scum, marks on walls, kitchen tile and my front door. It never takes off the paint only the stain. A word to the wise dont scrub too hard as the eraser will start to fall apart. Expect one solid cleaning per pad!

If I had to buy one product to clean my house of stains it would be the Magic Eraser!!!

PS buying direct from Amazon appears to be the lowest price I have ever seen the pads for.

I don't know what these are but they are crazy amazing. They will take almost anything off everthing. i have a two year old that makes lots of messes (shocking, I know) and these have helped to clean almost everyy one.

Well worth the $1 something per sponge (in fact, at the store I have seen these sold for $6 or $7 for a box of two! So it's a great buy). I have used these to remove dirt, oil, grime, dried food, pen marks, even paint! I had a plastic bag on the bathroom counter. It got wet and I forgot about it. When I remembered it and went to clean it up the plastic came off, but left a horrible blue paint behind! I used regular sponges, a heavy duty scrub brush, even a plastic scraper (I thought about razor blades but decided it would just scratch the counter). I thought our counter was ruined! Nope, the sponge saved it! It came off like nothing, hardly any scrubbing required. This sponge saved me hundreds since I didn't have to replace the counter. They do fall apart quickly but I have used them on some heavy duty stuff so I figured that is to be expected. Regular sponges may last longer, but they do a lame job. They are good for wiping counters or cleaning most dishes but that is about it. Forget trying to get rid of marker on your wall or paint stuck to your counter, that's what THESE are for!

I have tried just about every cleaning product to clean out a filthy bathub left by a former renter and these erasers were the only things that worked. After only half a box was able to clean all the soap scum and grout out of the tub and wall tiles. I don't think the person who left the mess cleaned it in the 4 years he lived there. It was bad. But with a little elbow grease and these erasers, I had it cleaned in about an hour. Also worked well on the grease on the stove. I totally recommend this for all tough jobs!!!!!

I have been driving myself crazy trying to keep the bottom of our textured fiberglass shower grime-free. I've tried vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, Lysol, Tilex - and it still takes an hour to scrub the bottom of the shower. In addition to that, even with weekly scrubbing, there was still a fine layer of grime that I could not get out.

As a last resort before buying bleach, I tried these nifty little "erasers." This is hands down the best product, EVER! With very little effort, all of the grime came up from the shower stall. It is as white at the day we moved into the house! The only con I can think of is that the product does not withstand more than one use, as the box implies it would. But, for saving my sanity, I am more than willing to part with the one dollar a week it will cost to clean my shower.

I have a white coffee maker and a white toaster oven that I have not bothered to clean much over the years. But I have a new roommate moving in, so I figured I should do something about the coffee and oil stains on these appliances. Soap and water didn't work, nor did my all purpose cleaner with a scour pad. I've tried vinegar, baking soda, etc., but they really didn't make a dent. Then I found a box of magic erasers under the sink from a previous tenant, and wow, just a light rub and the coffee stains disappeared. The appliances look lightly used now. I even started cleaning scuff marks off the walls. I am very impressed.

I initially purchased these because I had fireplace soot on my living room ceiling and walls and REALLY didn't want to have to paint again and NOTHING would take it off. These did! I use these for everything....scuffs on my hardwood floors, scuffs on my Pergo floors, PC monitor case that turns black, TV cases that turn black...just yesterday I was scrubbing and scrubbing and scrubbing with a cleaner and the black on my silver TV wouldn't come off. I got my Magic Eraser out and it IMMEDIATELY took off the black with ZERO effort! Unbelievable. I have a textured bath tub and these make cleaning it a BREEZE! I use to have to use a scrub brush and a LOT of time scrubbing with it....not with these. Fingerprints on walls, GONE! Ceramic tile in the shower comes clean with very little effort....scum gone. My stainless steel kitchen sink shines like crazy when cleaned with this. I have light colored counter-tops and any stains on them are removed with no effort. The inside of the microwave is cleaned easily. White metal kitchen door which is always covered with fingerprints is no problem for the Magic Erasers. These thing really ARE MAGIC! You need to try them. The uses are ENDLESS.
