This coffee maker is great because it has two features I really need. Programmable and turns off after 2 hours. I am tired of my coffee maker burning because we forget it on and it stays on for over 10 hours. Now I can rest assured it will turn off after a little while.
I had a Mr. Coffee for my everyday coffee and it worked great until it got burned on all day too many times.
I bought the same model (except for the previously mentioned features) and it is inexpensive and works as well. I have tried it already and no problems yet. I have an expensive cappuccino maker but that is not for every day.
This Mr. Coffee is what I need. It is simple to set and use, you can get your coffee ready the night before, and wake-up to freshly brewed coffee. Turns off after 2 hours so you have time to drink fresh coffee before work
I think it is a great value!!!

I have this coffeemaker in black. My husband bought us a single serve coffee maker but I found myself wishing I had a regular coffeemaker that just did the basics and made coffee!

This fits the bill with a few extras. The price is definitely right (I paid $27). The feature that I use daily is setting the maker to brew my coffee before I get downstairs in the morning. Nothing quite like smelling coffee upon awakening!

The flaws are few, considering the price. I wish that there was a way to override or extend the automatic shut-off. It shuts off after 2 hours, which is rarely enough time to finish the 10 cups I've brewed. The unit also drips a large amount of water onto the heating plate when the grinds basket is removed from the machine (after brewing). Since the grinds are typically removed when the machine is off this is not really a big deal.

Overall, it makes a decent cup of coffee with minimal hassle.

Purchased this coffee maker a couple months ago at the local K-MART for $25. it works as well, if not better,
than any other coffee maker we have owned, It brews good, consistant cups of coffee and it looks like it should cost much more than what we paid. We are pleased with our K-MART purchase except for the warranty which states the unit can not be returned to the store and must be shipped to a service center for service or replacement. You buy it and if you have a problem with it plan on the time and hassle of returning it. Knowing the warranty problem, we would still purchase this coffee maker.

Hate this Coffee Maker. Love that it turns off in 2 hours and that it is programmable. But coffee doesn't stay really hot. But the worst is that the basket overflows and we end up with grounds in our coffee. We usually make 10 cups .. maybe it's because we can't wait and take a cup while it's still brewing? Don't know ... but didn't have the problem with our old Mr. Coffee that gave out about four years of constant use.

I bought this coffee maker based on Mr. Coffee reviews - maybe I got a lemon because this is hands down the worst coffee maker ever. The first of coffee is barely warm and the second cup is so hot the milk actually forms a skin on the coffee - ugh!
