Mr. Coffee 4-Cup Replacement Decanter

The glass gets brittle over time and it eventually cracks in the sink. Buying a replacement decanter nearly costs the same as buying the whole coffee maker again, which is absurd. But I buy the replacement anyway to minimize waste.

i bought this almost one year ago!! so i guess it does last...anyways this was exactly what i was looking for, no scratches,brand new and just the right size for my small 4 cup coffee maker,it was hard to find in the stores close, although for being a replacement it is almost the same as buying the whole machine but either way it works fine...what will i do with two machines anyways.

Last carafe cracked in less than a year. This one was manufactured in Czech. If you are putting it in a dish rack to dry, make sure you don't stack anything on top of it.
This one cracked in less than a month! Interestingly on the bottom of the box of this one it expressly says there is NO manufacturer warantee!
I chucked the whole maker and bought another one in the thrift shop.

For the people that follow this kind of information, this product is not Made in America. I bought this item at ACE Hardware to replace a Proctor-Silex 4 cup decanter, and it fit and works perfectly. I had a difficult time finding a Proctor-Silex replacement. WalMart does not sell one for 4 cups. When push comes to shove, one can always use a Pyrex 1 cup measuring cup, but because of the thickness of the pyrex, the coffee does not seem to stay as warm as with the original carafes.

My friend had been looking all over for this replacement coffee pot for her Mr. Coffee maker. Found it so quick with Amazon.com and at a great price.

I ordered this item when I ordered a new coffeemaker for my in-laws. I have broken carafes in the past & having a "back-up" carafe has become an essential purchase for me. I figure if I buy an extra carafe at the same as I get te coffeemaker, it will be the exact thing I need.

I have owned numerous Mr. Coffee coffeemakers over the years, as have my in-laws. Most of the products just "die" eventually. I figure, for the price I pay, if I get five years out of a small appliance like this, I have gotten a bargain. In the case of only one Mr Coffee coffeemaker that my in-laws have owned, the water reservoir leaked. The previous coffeemaker to this one was a "no-name" CHEAP coffeemaker. There was no replacement carafe available, and when that carafe broke, we could not find a carafe to fit. We only paid $10.00 for it & it lasted about 2 years. That is "about right" for value & life - $5.00/year.

Would I purchase this item again & recommend it to a friend? ABSOLUTELY YES!!!!!!!!!

Been a while since I bought this, so don't remember every last detail, but how complicated can it be?...it wasn't. Replaced the broken carafe that came with the maker, & works perfectly. Was kinda hard to find.

I got this as a gift for my dad when he broke the original pot. It's probably a better value to just buy a whole new coffee machine, but he really wanted this for about 75% of the value of a new machine. He's thrilled with it, though, so it's completely worth it to me.

This replacement carafe is exactly like the one that came with my Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. As with the original (which I broke), this carafe has a glass pour spout which is quite fragile. Need to be careful when washing this carafe as the pour spout breaks easily.

Mr. Coffee, just what the doctor ordered. Consistent, quality, dependable. The decanter is being replaced due to user mishandling, not any malfunction of the product. (Whatever you do,however you clean it, do not bang around the inside of your glass decanter with a wood-handled brush! Duh.)
