Mr. Coffee Coffeemaker Cleaner - For All Automatic Drip Units

I've used Brewrite coffee pot cleaner on my stainless steal carafe and the residue film just slips off. This product didn't touch it when used as directed. I had to soak the carafe overnight with another dose of the stuff and still had to use a steel wool pad to get it clean. I'm still looking for something like Brewrite! :(

I used this product as directed and found that it was a waste of money. It didn't clean the pot or internal parts of the coffee maker that I wanted to clean.

I don't particularly like this product at all as a cleaner. I have used many a coffee pot cleaner and not of them have ever cleaned as well as Brew Rite cleaner. Not only does this cleaner do the job on the inside of the cleaner, it makes an excellent cleaner to get off all the build-up of oils on the outside of the coffee maker. Our coffee maker does double duty not only as a coffee maker but as an ice tea maker as well so it get double the oil and residue build-up and needs to be cleaned more frequently. However, I have great difficulty in locating stores that carry this brand of cleaner. I found it once at my local Walmart and they haven't carried it since. Fortunately I stocked up on it while they had it after I found out how well it worked. This cleaner also works well in the table-top fountains that have become popular in recent years for relaxation purposes. Most water has minerals in it that cause an almost barnacle like build-up on these fountains and their tubing and a mixture of Brew Rite cleaner in the pitcher of water you keep to refill the fountain with helps to hold down the mineral build-up and keeps the fountains working better. It is an all around great cleaner and I'm sorry to say I can't find it available locally any more. I can't recommend it highly enough. Mr. Coffee your cleaner sucks even if your pots are great!

We live in the Central Texas area and have very hard water that will cause excessive lime and scale build-up over time. This is tough on coffee makers and will cause them to shut off before the brewing cycle is complete and will significantly reduce the lifespan of most units. I have tried BrewRite cleaner which has virtually no effect, have had marginal success with CLR by running it through the brewing cycle several times. But Mr. Coffee cleaner worked on the first try. No more interrupted cycles! Got my first pack given to me and now I am on the hunt for more! Highly recommended for internal cleaning of the brewing mechanism.

This is exactly what I was looking for. For months I had used vinegar to clean my coffee maker. Worst. Experience. Ever. This cleans the maker without the smell and awful, awful taste.

I really like this product but it is hard to find and I live in a major metropolitan area. Rather than drive all over trying to find it, now ordering it online. It makes my coffee noticeably taste better and the brew cycle is faster after using the cleaner. I've tried other cleaners, but prefer this one. If you wait until your coffee maker is totally filthy and disgusting, not sure this will clean it. I use the cleaner every other month, brew coffee daily, decanter and filter go through the dishwasher daily.

It takes a while to dissolve the crystals completely, but it cleans the coffee maker faily well. I would run two full cycles of water through the machine after using this, just to make sure all of the cleaning agent is flushed out of the system.

Gave this to my Mom because she didn't know where to get one for her Coffee Maker. She said that it works pretty well and already wants me to get her some more!

From what I can tell ti did a very good job at cleaning my coffee maker. I would buy it again.

I have used this cleaner in my coffee pot and the cleaner works very well. You have to follow the instructions that are given. This is a very good product and does a very good job. Everyone should us it.
