Too bad that these pitchers never last as long as the brewer does! They eventually crack from the heat and if you use them as often as my wife does, that does not take long at all. For a while there my wife just bought a new brewer when she needed a new pitcher because the cost of a pitcher along with shipping, it was just a couple of dollars difference to just buy a whole new thing. But this time we just ordered several pitchers and got a break on shipping. The pitchers we ordered here are in original Mr Coffee boxes and are brand new. We have yet to wear a brewer out so we'll see how many pitchers we go through before a brewer bites the dust!

We bought this to replace the pitcher of a much older tea maker, and it is the right size and sturdier than the original pitcher that came with the unit.

Amazon was the only place I could find the size picter for my Mr. Iced Tea maker. This one works just great. And I've noticed you can put it in the dishwasher on and hot wash (not scouring hot!).

The price paid for this thin plastic pitcher is already ridiculous, but then I learned that the item warps in the dishwasher. What would it cost the manufacturer to make it safe for a dishwasher? Another nickel?

As it is, and at LEAST. . .this should be front and center in the product description.

I am glad I found this pitcher. I had dropped mine and it broke. I wish, however, Mr. Coffee would have a replacement pitcher without all the blue filter and two lids. I am sure this boosted up the cost and I just ended up throwing them away as all I needed was the pitcher.

This pitcher(Mr. Coffee TP 1-1/2 quart) was a replacement for our iced tea maker. The original lasted very long and this replacement has even better looks and seems of super good quality - we expect many good years of use. It is not a throw-away product like a lot of things are nowadays! Oh, by the way - Amazon is a super great online shopping experience

you can't go wrong with this puppy; unless you put it in the dishwasher and cram the lid into it. then you get to listen to it make crazy noises as the plastic splinters and cracks. note to self: don't put it in the dishwasher

This pitcher is not only a better unit than the original (the handle is thicker) but this one came with the original style steeping basket. This steeping basket allows the hot water to remain in contact with the tea bags longer because there is no "weep hole in the bottom of the basket. To prevent burns from lifting a basket of hot tea, you can empty the basket via a small "lever" on the side before discarding the used tea bags. Since the original 2qt tea brewer is the best unit that Mr Coffee has made, I recommend you pick up a spare pitcher or two while they are still available!

This product is a perfect replacement for our leaky container which had developed a crack. I feel much better replacing only what I need rather than the entire tea maker.

I had a hard time finding this to replace my broken one. This solved my problem. Now I don't have to buy a new ice tea maker.
