4.0 out of 5 stars The best puzzler for the Dreamcast, October 26, 2000

I was pleasantly surprised by Mr.Driller. It's got simple but addictive gameplay which is key to a puzzle game. The graphics aren't much and the music is pretty weak, but it's still a solid, and affordable, puzzler.

Mr. Digger, while appearing fairly simple, is really a very addictive, enjoyable game. Mr. Digger is trying to dig his way down to the depths of the earth while avoiding blocks that keep falling on him. The twitch factor is very good and the strategy (mostly which block to drill) requires split second timing. While not really that original, it's a pretty fun game.

This game is a lot of fun. It's like the classic "Dig Dug" combined with Puyo Puyo. I have been playing this game almost constantly, and I've been up as late (or early you could say) five AM, playing the game. Everybody needs to own this game. It's fun and challenging. One warning though: this game can really make you mad if you're angered easily. The only other drawback is it's addictiveness which destroys people's social life, if they had one in the first place. Buy this now.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's only THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, November 1, 2002
A Kid's Review

Sure, the game is simple and there may be no two player mode but let me tell you, THIS GAME IS FUN BABY!

Gameplay: Simple controlling Press X to drill and use the D-pad to move....thats all. *****

Freedom: There's not that much freedom in this game at all, but there are many modes of play to make up for that. ***

Modes: There are many modes of play like: Arcade, time attack and survival and more! *****

Music: The music of this game is pretty good, The are good tunes that remind you of the days when gaming was non violant and fun. *****

Graphics: Not the best of looks they're preetty damb good! Rich and colorful! It really makes the what it is! *****

Overall: Simple, packed full of modes, full of pretty tunes and good colorful graphics is what this game is. Very addictive too! A must have for most people for don't mind a break from action and violance for a bit of action-filled puzzles.

My Rating: 10/10

5.0 out of 5 stars This game is very addictive, from the moment you first play., June 21, 2002

The first time I popped this game into my Dreamcast, I thought it was just OK.

My wife, who hates video games (but was a huge fan of Dig Dug and Tetris), watched me play one round and said "let me try that." Three games later, *I* finally got the controller back ;-), and after I dialed down the difficulty settings for us newbies, we were *both* hooked.

The game is simple (watching someone play one round is all you need to do to learn how to play the game), yet it is somehow not tedious.

The only downside is that it is a one-player game only -- you can't play head-to-head.

a game of complexities, incorporating a classic of dig dug, with the new. This game is not your run of the mill bust a move, it is very difficult to play, although after awhile, you will become addicted to it. I have played the arcade version, and this version is an exact duplicate. It takes some getting used to especially when you think youre getting to a oxygen tank,( you are digging underground and must breathe oxygen to stay alive) you die. Bonus screens and intermissions are nice. Great for the price. enjoy
