Any water that was in the fuel will stay in the funnel - just dump it out when you've filled your appliance. To clean, just turn it upside down and whack it onto a hard surface. Nothing to replace, ever. Model F1c filters up to 2.5gpm, F3c up to 3.9gpm, F8C up to 5gpm and F15c up to 15gpm.

I pump aviation fuel from 55 gallon storage drums. I often have to transfer fuel to my floatplane using 5 gallon jugs. The Mr Funnel filter has saved my bacon on many occasions by filtering out water and other crud that would have killed my engine in mid-flight.
I recently had to by some mystery gas from a guy I met on a remote lake. Fortunately I had the Mr Filter in the cargo are of my plane. I filtered out half a water glass full of water and crude from two 5 gallon jugs of old gas.
I now have a second Mr Funnel that I use for my diesel pick-up truck and a third for my snow blower, tractor, chainsaws, generators, and other homestead equipment.

I purchased this fuel funnel, and have used it once to add diesel to my boat. It separated out about an 1/8" of extract- maybe some water, in the bottom of the funnel after pouring in 4 1/2 gals. The diesel was purchased from a gas station, and appeared clean, but the funnel filter worked.

I have had a 30 year long, ongoing battle with fuel problems in the seven gasoline powered machines that I own (Power auger, snow blower, irrigation pump, wood splitter, et al). For years I have had to "fix" all these machines and devise clever ways the make them start and then keep running. On the advice of a friend, a "wizard" I bought one of these funnels. He argued that ALL my machine problems were fuel problems.
After starting with fresh gasoline, I now run it through the funnel. My machine problems have vanished. All engines now start easily and run smoothly. I no longer store fuel longer that two months and I always filter both newly purchased and saved gasoline before using. I even drain tanks and then refill them through the funnel before using any such machine.
One day, I decided to test the funnel in real time. That is, I filled it with water and watched to see if any moisture flowed through. Much to my amazement the funnel's discharge tube remained completely dry. NO WATER, NOT ONE DROP, CAME THROUGH! Life is good again!
This is my first Mr Funnel. I later bought a smaller model for small jobs. This guy will filter almost as fast as I can pour. It has revolutionized my use of machines.

What are we buying from the pumps????????
I thought gas, not water !!!!
It stopped my boat on a dime.
Dumped the filter into a glass qt jar, and could not beleive it.

Just rec my new Mr Funnel and dumped that same qt jar in, WOW !!!
only gas came thru... it kept the water out...

Oh this gas didnt come from the docks..it came from our local gas station.

Way to go "Mr Funnel"

I received my funnel just in time to fill-up my truck. I took it down to the filling station and pumped 5-6 gal of diesel into my tank. I looked in the funnel and saw 2-tiny water droplets. I talked to the owner and he said he had just filled his tank and that it would settle out in a little while. So I left and went back a couple hrs later and tested again, no water. This funnel already paid for itself. Great product, and Super Fast shipping, 3-days to AK!!! 5-Stars *****

It filters dirt well, but the flow almost stops when the fuel has about 2" remaining in the funnel. The screen doesn't appear to be blocked and I don't detect water contamination.Should I discard the remaining fuel? The instructions are inadequate to help determine if there is water contamination or how a filter stops water from flowing through the screen.

This is the second Mr. Funnel I have purchased. The first I have had for several years and only parted with it because a transcient helicopter needed a good funnel to get av-gas from five gallon cans into his helicopter. I sold it to him for exactly what it cost to replace it and bought me a new one. It is exactly like the old one. The disclamer says it is not to be used with aviation fuel, liability you know. I wouldn't be without it out in the bush.

The funnel will filter out water. Diesel goes through the funnel slow but acceptable. There is approximately 3/4 cup of fuel left in the funnel after every use. I keep what was left in the funnel in a clean container & pour it in with the next fill up.
