Pellet stove electric motor gasket
Part of the annual maintenance routine of my wood pellet stove is removing the exhaust fan assembly. When the flange is removed, the sealing gasket is destroyed. The stove's manufacturer provided a replacement gasket at $25/ea which was good for a single season. After 8 years, the part was no longer available. This gasket material works great. A great alternative
My girlfriend's motorcycle needed the primary resealed and there are no more new gaskets available that we could find. So was able to make one out of this material. Suggestion use an Excato Knife not a box cutter.

The stove's manufacturer provided a replacement gasket at $25/ea which was good for a single season. After 8 years, the part was no longer available. This gasket material works great. Its easy to work with and the sheet size will yield at least 4 gaskets.
Note that this material is not suitable for sealing the stove door.

This gasket material works well for our prototype engine for high temperature and high pressure operation. It is also easy to punsh and cut to out requirements. Highly recommend.
