I am sorry that this book is not available as I write this review because it is an absolutely wonderful book. Anna of the title is a small girl who is taken in by Flynn and his mother. As a child she has a simplistic view of the world. She always reverences God in her conversations by addressing him as Mr. God and Jesus as Mr. God's son. It is a book that allows you to explore faith with childlike wonder. A tragedy tests the family's beliefs but it is Anna's faith in God that will see them through. I read this book when I was fourteen, some years ago, and it has always remained one of my favorites. I hope to see it back in print soon.
