We recently purchased and remodeled a 1960s overhead camper and ordered this Pyrex globe as a replacement for the missing globe; it fit perfectly, blending with the vintage look we enjoy. Unfortunately, the globe broke when we hit some rough back roads in the Rocky Mountains recently. I'm back to purchase another globe - this one will only be placed on the fixture while parked. I plan to pack it to prevent breakage while we're driving.

Had to buy this because we had one break by just bumping it with a tool. Seems to be a little thin glass.

I use a 1956 trailer when I go hunting that was purchased new by my Grandfather when he retired. My Father took over the trailer when Grandpa passed away and we used it for years. When my Dad passed away I was fortunate enough to inherit the goods. I broke the globe for the gas light a few weeks ago on a hunting trip and thought I would never find a replacement. I was wrong. This is exactly like the original. Thank You!
