This product is a great alternative to a traditional wire crate. It is more pleasing to the eye than a wire crate, very sturdy and well-made. I would say though that the wicker does not look like true natural wicker. However, knowing that it will need to withstand cleaning it is close second. Other features that I like are: door allows you to latch it inward; bottom feet are rubberized to keep from scratching the floor and the bottom of the crate sits above the floor. Overall, I would say that this was a great buy.

Update - The manufacturer shipped a replacement panel for $30. I then went to the local hardware store and picked up some chicken wire to make sure Bogey doesn't remodel again.

Our 9 lb Papillon with a bum front leg made short work of this crate after about 2 months of use. I guess once he figure out the plastic was easy to get at, he got after it. He's not a chewer and he's been crate trained since we got him 3 years ago. They really need some cross bars to prevent this sort of thing. It's a nice looking crate but it obviously is flawed.

That was done between 8:00AM and lunch.
I just hope I can get a replacement for the side panel and find someway to secure the sides so I don't have to throw this expensive item in the trash.

I bought this crate for my new dog, and I just love it. It is a very good looking, well-made and easy to assemble product. I think it is worth the price because with a standard wire crate, you'll need to spend another $40 on a cover to create the den atmosphere. I wasn't sure of the size, but the Small just fits my 19 lb Corgi.

I love this crate, it was well worth the money. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the top doesn't open, but otherwise my dog loves it and it's very nice to look at instead of the usual ugly metal crates. It also has a removable pan for washing. I was worried about the puppy chewing on it, but she hasn't so far and it's been about a month.

I love this crate - we have it in our mudroom - looks grear, gives the pooch a nice home with a look that matches most any dacor. Does not look chincy - actually very heavy duty! Happy, Happy, Happy!!

We use this for out 11 pound mini dachshund.

Love this item--the dogs (we have two and two crates) are comfortable and the crates look fine with my furniture. They even know which crate is which and are very uncomfortable if put in the "wrong" crate--is that like my having a certain side of the bed?

This cage is well made, has excellent features found on no other cage, or carrier and is easy to clean. Perfect for our Yorkshire Terrier. We bought it for the appearance and are very pleased.

This is a decorative crate, looks great with any decor. If you like to keep a crate in the house but do not want an ugly metal eye sore this is definetly a solution. It was very easy to put together. My dog absolutely loves it and so do we.

This is a great crate for small animals, and in my case my cat... The only downside I feel about this product is I wish it didn't cost as much as it did... Other than that, it's exactly what I was looking for...

I ordered this item for my 6 pound Yorkie who likes to piddle when I'm not home. It is large and confortable, lots of air-flow. It was easy to assemble and looks attractive in my room. The only down-side is that I was unable to find a pad for the bottom, but I folded up a towel and that worked. Also, the "bamboo" is plastic, but it's not bad. I'd recommend this for anyone who wants to contain a pet but doesn't want to look at a plastic or wire kennel. It comes in a dark or light finish for any decor.
