As a former teacher, I think these books are great for children. They are fun and rich in vocabulary! My class always got excited to read Mr. books. They would get really excited when characters from others books would visit in different stories as well!

Mr. Jelly is a classic case of an everything-phobic. Even the slightest touch of a leaf makes him tremble in terror. But a tramp teaches him to control his fear, and so he changes - becoming more like a raspberry marshmallow than a jelly.

The book contains a beautiful picture of an autumn forest which I spent hours looking at as a kid.
