I am happy with this light. It does cast pretty patterns on a table or against a wall. It comes with a removable stake so you can plant it or put it on a table. It gives off relatively (compared to other solar lights I own) bright white light.

I am pretty happy with this lantern. The major drawbacks are its size (its fairly small) and the fact that the light it emits has sort of a bluish tint (seems to be common with solar lights). Other than that it has been wonderful. Even on cloudy days it consistently lights up on its own every night. Additionally the pattern on it is quite beautiful.

Purchased this lantern for my patio table. It looks great, not like those cheap plastic lanterns, and feels solid, not too light. You simply give it a full charge by exposing it to daylight, then switch it on. The lantern lights up automatically when it gets dark.

The light it not very bright and is blue-ish. It is bright enough to sit on the patio and drink, smoke etc. but not bright enough to eat or read. For the price, you probably can't expect more. I love the fact that it is solar powered.

It started rusting in less than one week so we returned it. The solar power worked well
