This compilation is raw yet creative. The photographer captures the youth and playfulness of his subjects in the passage of time displayed in various subjects' photos. You will be invited to look at this work repeatedly.

I am a 70s era person and I loved the guys back then. I am so glad to see a book which features these guys. I only wish they had DVDs of these guys posing. But the book is just as good!

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic!, March 14, 2010

This review is from: Mr. Long: The Models of Third World Studio, Chicago, Vol. 2, 1976-1981 (Paperback)
Having seen the Vol. 1 work entitled Mr.Big, I have to say that this was not an unexpected delight. Some of the same models are present but in different photos as seen in the first volume. Great photography and as a period piece it stands on some very impressive merits. If you enjoy this kind of in your face eroticism then I would highly recommend this book. Vol. 1 was purchased for me by a friend and she seemed a bit surprised that I immediately ordered Vo. 2. This art form is simply not in vogue these days, at least not in much of the US, and it seems to let one get a glimpse of days when this type of entertainment was more available and possibly a bit more acceptable. The only drawback was that both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 have the same introduction...a rather small price to pay for the enjoyment these collections bring!
