5.0 out of 5 stars better with time
this album is one of the finest i have heard in the punk genre. it grows on you time and time again. i have had this cd for at least five years now and it still manages to find it's way into my deck. each song has its own beat which keeps you wanting more. it's an upbeat album that i am sure you will enjoy. there is really nothing else quite like it out there. even though...

2.0 out of 5 stars Theses guys don't know a Mambo from a Mamba
Low-buget, b-studio, unfinished, poorly produced, also-ran effort by "the next big thing." Might be more impressive if it actually was an indie record and not a major label outing. One thing I will give them credit for is the beat. Nothing too ground breaking, but your toes will tap as you try to stomach Alfalfa, I mean Potz, or whatever dumb name the singer goes by. And...

5.0 out of 5 stars CMJ LEGEND!, March 2, 2007
This review is from: Mr Mirainga (Audio CD)
Baglady changed my life when I successfully guessed it to win the CMJ 'name-each-song-on-the-cd-in-10-seconds-or-less-contest' on a particular day in 1996 in Matt's bedroom. The jubilation of that particular win was amplified thanks to the pleasure one gets in saying the band's name...Mr. Mirainga! At the time I really had no desire to buy the record, especially given that I already had it's finest cut on cd. But thanks to amazon marketplace I can pick up a copy for price of $0.01 which makes it worth the cash in my opinion.

Cuts like 69 South, The Birds and the Bess, Big Faces, and Jamie's Cryn' are all awesome for the price. The rest aren't really worth it, so don't put those on your ipod. Mr. Mirainga!

if you like this record wait until you hear their new one that will be released early next year. the new music is more latin flavored and made for dancing and groovin.

And what's with the Van Halen guitar? Are you serious? Santana had Carlos. Sublime had Brad. The Wailers had Bob Marley. You get the theme here? They obviously don't. Pick it up at a $.99 used bin near you and save the postage for a...
