I bought this model - the cheap one - and have been watching my daughter struggle to keep the pieces on Mr. Potato Head's head ever since. I've tried to help her out, but the design is flat out bad. I can't get the pieces to stay put, either...not to save my life. I just bought two of the pricier models, the standard one and the other that comes with the suitcase, and I'm going to see which of those two models I prefer. I'm also hoping to salvage the parts from this model and hope that the pieces will stick into the new head that we settle on. Pain in the arse, but I guess that you get what you pay for.

Doesn't come with the hat or moustache. Very cheaply made. I thought he'd come with an assortment of add ons...but no, he comess with A basic face and the only other part is a tongue.

I think that Playskool must have changed something in how they make Mr. Potato Head because I don't remember the toy ever being this flimsy when I was a kid. The most frustrating things is that the trap door (no pun intended) of the potato constantly falls off, essentially making it useless for storing the extra parts inside the potato head. What good is Mr. Potato head if you can't put his junk in his trunk?

I would not recommend this toy, due to the cheap construction. This is not the potato head I remembered as a child. The pieces do not stay on, the glasses pop off and the holes are too close together for some of the different pieces. They got the cheapest bidder to reproduce this toy, knowing they could sale it from the movie recognition. Another great product from our buddies in China.

The toy is cute overall and my daughter loves taking the toy apart, however, parts dont always fit properly when put together again.

This was great when I went to school and 20+ years later he's still popular. My 3 year old students love playing with it. Only downside is the back detaches and most children can't place it back on themselves.

It is great to still have some toys that don't have bells and whistles but promote children's creativity, construction, and language development as they use it for pretend play.

cheap, holes not aligned, it's impossible to put the glasses because they are too small and pop off immediately. the arms levers (what goes in the body) are too long and the arms do not go all the way in to body. also, the arms do not stay in the position you leave them in. they immediately fall down since the holes are not sized correctly.

it's almost impossible to put the mustache, eyes and mouth correctly because they interfere with each other. just terrible.

Mr. Potato Head such a great classic toy. I had one of these when I was a child and now it's great to see my children interact with the same toy. It has a little bit of an upgraded look from what I remember but nonetheless the same exact toy. My kids love it!!!

The children love this toy. They have many toy story characters and this one is a winner. Mrs. Potato Head is also one of their favorites.
