5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Variety and Fun for Toddlers
Our two-year-old son loves experimenting with all of the different pieces in this set, putting arms where the head should be, ears where the nose goes, etc. Since there are three potato heads, it's like a little family, and he can mix and match. Very cool toy. One note: if your child is prone to swallowing small objects, or you don't like toys with lots of small pieces...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not so great
My kids really didn't like this toy - I think there were too may pieces of certain types (arms and hats) and too few ears and noses for them to create different people and have fun. (FYI there were only two ears in the entire set).

Very cool toy. One note: if your child is prone to swallowing small objects, or you don't like toys with lots of small pieces (although that's half the fun for children, handling these small objects with their little fingers) you might want to wait until your child is at least three before purchasing this. But as long as you keep an eye on your child, it should be fine.

My 3 year old loves this. Classic and lets him be creative. There are so many items included in this particular pack; it's a great deal. I have fun playing with these, too! Nice that it includes 3 bodies (1 smaller sized), so a few children (or grown-ups!) can join in the fun.

WOW! What a set! Two big Taters and a Tater Tot! Bunches of accessories, male and female, including pirate gear! Bought this for the church nursery, and it's a favorite there.

My kids enjoy this product. The way the feet attach is a bit of a pain.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waaaay overpriced on Amazon. Check out Target., January 5, 2008

I had to double and triple check the price on this Mr. Potato Head when I saw it on Amazon. I got the same thing at target for $16.99. True, it is a hot (no pun intended) item right now and I had to call a couple of Targets until I found one, but for a $30+ "discount" I was willing to put in a little work. Seriously... $50? You could buy multiple Potato Head packs and make your own jumbo pack for that price.
