    Book Description

Mr. Samsquatch is a slightly clumsy, but honest Bigfoot. Sams encounters a troublesome day when his tripping, stepping, tumbling, sitting, and stomping on the forest creatures leads him to a human camp. Will Mr. Samsquatch find what he needs or just find more trouble?

Excerpt from Mr. Samsquatch and the Troublesome Day

"OUCH!" yells Mr. Samsquatch. "What did I sit on?"

"It was me," said a prickly porcupine. "I was taking a nap on that stump. Couldn't you see me?"

"No, I didn't see you," said Sams. "I am having a bad day. I can't seem to watch where I am going."

"Maybe you need glasses," suggested Porcupine.

    "What are glasses?" asked Sams.

    3.0 out of 5 stars Cute June 28, 2014

I got this book for my youngest son, who is almost 3. I was expecting a lot of pictures and not a lot of writing. Just so you know it is more like one picture and a lot of reading. Which my son is not into. For a little older child it would probably be good. Just not for my son. A free book, so it would be able to try out with out getting mad at the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars recommended but please fix typos November 3, 2013
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Great story and engaging for young children. I like how the author incorporates the message that it is not OK to take things away that are not yours, and introduces the concept of asking and trading. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of typos. Please correct spelling for leaf.

    5.0 out of 5 stars I love Mr. Samquatch! January 2, 2013

My daughter and I keep returning to the story of Mr. Samsquatch. It's funny, adorable and original. On the off-chance Bigfoot is real, I hope he's as endearing as this big hairy guy!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for kids with glasses! February 6, 2012
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
We love the pictures in this book.
It has good, slightly repetitive phrases, such as a child loves to hear, but not so repetitive that mom and dad get annoyed.
There is some good humor. We laughed more than once. And, I had the opportunity to explain a few things to my children, such as, "A sasquatch is..."
The characters are kind and have good manners.
There are a few typos in the book.
This is an excellent story for a child who wears glasses, and an absolutely perfect story for a child who just found out that he/she needs glasses. It's perfectly lovely!
