The first tambourine I received did not work. The battery compartment was missing the necessary components to make the batteries light up the tambourine. I contacted the company and they sent me another one immediately. The lights are not large and therefore do not show up as much as I had wanted. I had seen one that really flashed when struck with the hand. These are red and green lights and perhaps white would have shown more. I do have to add that the company responded to me in a timely and satisfactory manner. The tambourine is not worth the $32.00. It is fine as a regular tambourine without the lighting effects.
