I bought this CD months ago -- I guess before it was out on any sort of major release (bought on CD Baby, check that site out for great unknown/obscure talent). It's great to finally see this guy's CD on Amazon, because it needs to be heard. Basically, the CD is a mix of acoustic guitar, reggae and hip-hop. Mr. Anonymous went to JA and recorded tunes with a whole crop of reggae/dancehall legends, as well as some up-and-comers, and the results are amazing. Bangin' tracks featuring the legendary Cutty Ranks, and a whole bunch of other big name notables, including Barrington Levi, Michael Rose (former Black Uhuru lead singer), Bounty Killer, Sly/Robbie and Frankie Paul. Also, includes tracks with more recent star Turbulence, who I dig a lot, and many others. Just managing to get all these people to collaborate on one CD is amazing, particularly if you consider that Mr. Anonymous was, well, relatively anonymous. Hopefully not for long, though ... Like I said, if you like great music that crosses genres, definitely check this CD out!!!
