This is an exceptional title from the legendary Lois Lenski. This classic children's author was the daughter of a minister. She puts her Christian foundations to good use in this colorfully ilustrated Bible story. This book, first published in 1948, manages to tell the familiar Noah's Ark story with simple but colorful pictures. The text is just perfect for toddlers who want something just one step above the more basic board books. My 16 month old loves this book! It's large size make it fun for him to turn the pages. I only hope more Lois Lenski books will be released in board format.

Lois Lenski brings her warmth to a wonderful Bible story. The board book format is great for our 16 month old son who loves to turn the pages as I read it to him. The drawings are vivid and keep a child's attention and there is a colorful border of animals around each page. This is a classic that should be part of every Christian child's library.
