Old ladies have used this stuff to make their white hair whiter for ages. It's also used in shampoos for white haired dogs.

I have to say that even if I didn't love this stuff for the environmental benefits, it is just plain better than bleach. My clothes come out much whiter than they ever did with bleach. It's an optical trick, but as long as it works, great!

Also, I don't even bother waiting for the rinse cycle. I toss this stuff into the main wash, and it works just the same.

An "old school" product that does what it is supposed to do. While mixing it with water and adding it to the rinse cycle requires me to pay attention to the washer, it's not a huge deal, as I don't use it with every single load of whites. (I use it monthly, if that). Well worth the money, and one bottle will last quite a long time.

This product has been an all time favorite for me. I have used this product years ago. I could no longer find it in the stores I was so excited to find this product on Amazon.com. I like my whites to be white and no matter what product I used they were not white enough. This is it!!

While Mrs. Stewart's Bluing didn't take out any pre existing stains, it made all of my whites a perfect sparkling white color that makes my clothes look brand new. Around the wrist of some of my white hoodies there are stains from handling items and going to class. Those stains were not removed, but they were significantly whitened.
Overall it's a great product that I would highly recommend.

I have learned that Mrs. Stewart's Bluing is great for cutting down on alage growing in my water buckets for my goats..... Just spray some in and it works like a charm. I am sure there are many ways to use this product, mine comes will packed and on time.....

Thought it would do a better job. Used it 4-5 times and have not noticed a difference in any of our clothes.

Great product for grandsons crystal making. I live 15 to 30 miles from 3 little towns. I couldn't find this product in these towns. Infact I couldn't find this product in a large town 120 miles away. I was real happy when I found it on Amazon and the hardware store that carried it.

I have hard water so its hard for me keep my white clothes white. Even with the hard water I have noticed a diffrence.

I've used this product for several years but could not find it in stores. I went to amazon and found it. Not only did I find it, but found it at a great price and had it shipped to my home in just THREE days. The product is great, but the customer service is FANTASTIC!!!!.

I've looked for Mrs. Stewart's Bluing for a couple of years and it just is not sold in the grocery stores anymore. I was delighted to find it here; it was pricey, but when in short supply it's just good to find it! Product appears to be exactly as it should be. Arrived fairly quickly.
