Be aware that this book uses the word 'hate' a few times and also refers to Mrs. Wishy Washy as 'mean' old lady...its a good fun story, and I still read it to my daughter, but I edit the choices of words along the way...she has the rest of her life to find out what hate is...a two year old doesn't need to know now.

I teach kindergarten, and my students have read all the books about Mrs. Wishy-washy and her animals. This book has the same fun, joyful tradition of the other stories. The children's immediate comment was "Read it again!". One child wanted to write to Joy Cowley to see if she was going to write another one. This book is a winner.

I have recently purchased this book for my 2 year old and she cannot put this book down. The pictures are wonderful and full of color. The pictures are so big and the story plot is not that long so that for non readers it is just great and lots of fun to read. Suggestions, make noises as you read the few lines and have them call out and descripe the colors and animals seen on the pages. I truly recommend this book because most importantly my daughter loved it and I loved seeing her face.

This is a great book - full of good old fashioned rhyming fun. That's why my husband and I love it. Our toddler loves the colorful, charming illustrations. Either way, it's a winner and on our top ten list!

Joy Cowley has taken our favorite characters and put them into a full length story. The share an adventure to the city and realize that 'there is no place like home!' Mrs Wishy-Washy comes to the rescue just in the nick of time. A total winner!

This book was given as a gift to my daughter's preschool. We did have a chance to read it at home and my children loved the book. The delivery was amazing!! Very fast! Would recommend to preschool aged children.

My son, who is 2 1/2, loves this book! I think he likes the repetitive "wishy-washy, wishy-washy". It's one of his favorite stories. I read it to him nearly every night.

A wonderful, fun, well written and illustrated book. My Kindermusik students and parents love it - and so do I!

I am a preschool teacher and I love using this book in my classroom and at home with my children! Great for beginner readers.
