Well, im not usually a fan of dance music, or techno or whatever you call this, but ive been humming the tune to The Riddle for weeks! Its a really great tune, and so is the other stuff by Gigi D'Agostino.

A Majestic Ride,

Vocals done by the 80s star, Nick Kershaw, Gigi mixes up another masterpiece in The Riddle. It's absolutely a fabulous ride on this trance single. Love it.

real catchy,
This review is from: Ms Jackson / Sole Sunday (Audio CD)
this Jam was catchy the first time that i heard it&I still bump to it whenever I hear it.it has a cool groove&you hear a Cameo vocal influence within it as well.the Ghost of Larry Blackmon(who is still very much Alive) is echoing through Andre3000.

Yet Another Version Of Well-Known Dance Track,
By Michael (San Diego, California USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Riddle (Audio CD)
What is this?? Like the 10th version of this song in Euro-Dance?? I really can't keep track, but Gigi D'Agostino had to put his own version into the mix. Now Mr.D'Agostino didn't do any wrong with this version - it just isn't as good as previous variations. The dance beats here are fairly good, with D'Agostino's usual flair for the trance sound. The main problem I have is with Nick Kershaw on vocals. His vocals seem oddly off-key and are an unnecessary distraction from a good song. This song really doesn't need vocals anyway. It stands out on its own very well as a pure instrumental dance track. I hardly ever listen to this track and there is a good reason - it sounds like Captain Jack and Eiffel 65 got together and did a combined effort. You could give vocoders to a marching band and they could do just as decent a job as Gigi D'Agostino did here. If you want better versions of THE RIDDLE, try the group Lightforce and their outstanding TAKE YOUR TIME. It will blow you away! Another good variation is YOU DON'T STOP by Buzzy Bus. They stick to the true originality of this oft-remade song.
