5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Ms. Pac-Man For An Atari System, August 24, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Ms. Pac-Man (Video Game)
While the 7800 Ms. Pac-Man got released late along with the 7800 game system, it's still a rather faithful adaptation of the arcade original that looks, sounds, and plays just like it would and should.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ms. Pac-Man rocked on Atari 7800, September 17, 2011
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Ms. Pac-Man (Video Game)
The popularity of Ms. Pac-Man proved in the early and mid-1980s that it was an obvious choice for porting to home gaming consoles, of which there were many. One of the best at-home versions of Ms. Pac-Man was the cartridge for the Atari 7800 system.

The Atari 7800 came out in January 1986 as Atari's then latest bid at re-taking over the video game world after the crash of the gaming market in 1983. Unfortunately Atari would never regain the spotlight as it had in the early 1980s with its 2600 system, but the Atari 7800 was still a decent gaming system on par in many ways with the more popular Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) of the day.

Ms. Pac-Man was one of those games that showed just how good the Atari 7800 system could be.

The 7800 version of this arcade classic was about as close to the original as it could be. All the action was there, as were the bright colors, the maze gameplay, the ghosts, the story intermissions, the prizes that were the fruits, etc.

If one wanted a home version of Ms. Pac-Man that was faithful to the arcade original, you couldn't do much better than the Atari 7800 version of the game.

4.0 out of 5 stars Still fun ..after all these years..., June 22, 2011

Ah Ms. Pac man..You digital little minx you! with your red bow and extra mazes...you give retro games style LOL

but seriously, Ms pac man for the atari 7800 is an excellent port of the arcade classic..this version has to be one of the best pac man games atari ever made... it ranks up there with pac man for the atari 5200 (my favorite console verson of that title) the graphics you get in this version are top notch for the 7800..the sound is high quality..it even has those little "they meet" segments which is a nice touch.

bottom line..if you have a 7800 system you need to pick this one up... its worth it :)

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this port..., November 21, 2010
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars

I really do. This is it right here. This is what all ports should look like and in the words of other gamers "ATARI KEPT IN THE ANIMATIONS BETWEEN ACTS!!!" Straight from the horses mouth. The great sounds and controls...this definitely makes up for the PAC-MAN port for the Atari VCS (Video Computer Syestem)/2600. If you have an Atari 7800 then you must surly have this game already!!!

-Thanks
