I have two labs (yellow and black). After many complaints from my neighbor about the barking I caved and got one to see how it would go. When I first put it on I saw how it actually worked. It is not harsh! it gives a few (2-3) warning beeps before it gives a small shock and then a higher one. if the dog barks once.. it beeps... if he stops for a little bit it will reset, if he/she continues it progesses through the discipline stages. But only so long before it starts over with the beeping.
I later found that the battery fell out and I couldnt find the cover... but I put it on him anyway and it took a while before he realized nothing would happen if he barked.. lol
For the price I think it's great! these products don't work for all dogs. But if you are going to try one to find out how your dog will respond I would recomend this one over a really pricey one.

This product is very HUGE. Not what I expected at all. I joked around that it looked like a torture device after I opened it. There is no way I would use this on my dog even if the dog was 100 lbs. After purchasing this product, realizing to return it would cost me just as much as I originally paid for it, I threw it away (brand new) and ordered a spray collar instead. The collar weighed about three lbs and was about 3 1/2 inches long. It would not work for a Daschund or a Lab. Its just too huge.

I ordere this item. When I got it in the mail it was a totally different item then what was on the website. I sent the item back for a refund and NOTHING. I was never given my money back. So now I'm stuck with no money and no product. Rediculous! The item was VERY cheap looking.
