I LOVE THIS CD. EVERY SONG ON IT IS GOOD AND WORTH LISTENING TO. THIS CD IS GREAT FOR PARTIES. EVERYONE WILL LIKE AT LEAST ONE SONG IF NOT MORE. TRL WAS A BIG HIT AND THIS CD GOES RIGHT ALONG WITH IT. IM 22 AND STILL A TEENIE BOPPER. BOY BANDS ARE AWESOME. THIS CD HAS A MIXTURE OF POP FROM SISQO TO BACKSTREET BOYS TO BBMAK. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. GO GET IT.

I've had this CD for 2 years and still play it sometime. But while some of the comments have been negative, you have to understand how much these pop songs were major hits within a 3 to 4-year period. Their videos were shown a lot on MTV's TRL, but the songs were catchy and addictive. This album keeps a consistent flow within its 56 minutes. And one of the rare ones to have boy bands NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees and O-Town on the same album. Would have liked Britney's Baby One More Time on here, but they might have had to go through record label permission and licensing issues to get it on there. I still love 3LW's No More, Mya's song, Sisqo's song, Willa Ford's song, Souldecision's funky Faded, BBMAK's song and others on here as well as Enrique Iglesias' tasty Be With You. A very fun and entertaining album that will have you dancing!!!!!

OK, the first thing i want to tell you is I DON'T like pop music, so, this cd is not for me. Even though i don't like pop music i can tell you there is way to much overrated [stuff] on this cd. Just like on TRL, all it is is a bunch of teenie-boppers promoted to look like REAL music, well, i know REAL music and this is nothing like it.

Basically, the album consists of artists like The Backstreet Boys, *N SYNC, and O-Town. One thing i do think is bad about it as well is that it doesn't even feature the best of TRL pop. After looking at the tracks, i realized half the songs on it haven't even been on TRL, and, if they were on it, they didn't peak higher than NO. 5. Songs like Len's "Steal My Sunshine" and Enrique Iglacious's "Be With You" are not the best of TRL pop anyway so why put them on the record?

There is nothing, and i mean absolutely nothing good about this album, if you want REAL music buy something that does not have the words TRL or POP in it.

I could quibble with the tracklisting (No Britney or Christina), but all in all you will not find a better Pop CD right now. It has all the major teen pop stars,on their best songs, paced just right for a party for kids from 6 to 60. If you are a fan, you probably already have these, but if you have been waiting for one CD that will give you the best Teen Pop without the filler, you should stop your bucks here. All you oldtimers (like me) out there should play this back to back with Varese Sarabande's "Bubblegum Classics" series and compare how technology has advanced!

Really! This CD makes a great coaster. Every time I set my drink on it, my wood furniture stays dry and ring-free. This CD can also be used as a frisbee. Go ahead, take your pooch outside and use this CD to play frisbee with it! I guarantee you and your canine friend will have fun for hours and hours. But whatever you do, do NOT put this in your CD player and hit the play button. (Unless you're looking for an easy way to get a headache.)

Yes, this is typical, wretched, pre-fabricated, sickeningly sweet pre-teen pap. But what do you expect with a title like "MTV: The Best Of TRL Pop"? Alice In Chains? Led Zeppelin? The stuff on here isn't even Blink 182. I probably shouldn't have to tell you this, but leave this one to collect dust on the record store shelf.

I don't even need to tell you how much this cd sucks. Just look at this crap on here, Nsync? The Thong Song? BBMak?

This music is so lifeless and bland, but I didn't expect to find anything good on here such as The Smiths or Mindless Self Indulgence.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. JUST STAY AWAY!!!

Whaz up, playaz!!

It's finally happened, my dream has come troo: I discovered a "best of" compilation from the hit MTV show "TRL". Music just simply does not get much better than this, people. If there is a better cd in the world, I'd sure like to know what it is!! I can almost envision Carson Daly introducing these bands one-by-one as they take center stage during late afternoon, as hundreds of understandably fanatic kids are going crazy....this album is unreal.

Just check out the artists: N Sync (pop gods), Willa Ford (great "bad" hit single), Smash Mouth (gosh those guys are fun), Enrique Iglesias (the definition of smooth, today's Ricco Suave), Mandy Moore (a truly beautiful young woman), 98 Degrees (they don't get the props they deserve as musicians), and finally, my favorite, O-Town (I believe they will be the capture the boy-band crown from N Sync in the next few months). Whew!! I'm almost blown away just writing about all this talent.

To sum it all up, Carson Daly definitely deserves a cd that features the artists on His show. This album should have been marketed way more heavily, cuz I believe it's da real deal....it should have sold millions. If you haven't heard of TRL, check it out. For those of you who are older, you may want to check out Daly's late-night talk show.....if you can handle his mad humor, the dude is trooly sick!!!

This album is pure recycled sticky bubblegum pap that millions of stupid white teenagers loved in the late 1990s. But what I REALLY hate is the cover! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? WHO THE #%!$ IS THAT CHICK ON THE COVER?!?!? COULD THE WOMAN ON THE COVER BE UGLIER?!?!? IMAGINE THIS: THEY WENT THROUGH MANY POSSIBLE MODELS TO MAKE IT ON THE COVER AS THE LUCKY DEVIL WHO GETS TO SHOW THE ENTIRE WORLD 41.3% OF HER FACE! IMAGINE THE MODELS WHO WERE REJECTED.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHACK. im done.

Could somebody tell me whose idea it was to put this useless collection together. This CD is nothing but disposable teenybopper pop-fluff that most of us have now grown out of long ago. The track selection is just laughable especially with insultingly immature krap like "I Wanna Be Bad" or "Thong Song", both of which are absolutely awful and completely faceless with as much emotion as an empty bowl. It's no wonder noone ever bought this useless CD when it came out as almost every song on here is on other compilations. This CD almost doesn't even deserve to exist. The most laughable cash-in joke I've ever heard of. >:(

Buy some Fourplay, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, U2, or Underworld instead.
