much by ten shekel shirt is undoubtedly one of the best Christian records i own. the poetic lyrics and exciting instrumental arrangements turn me back to this cd time and again.

some outstanding tracks include the "Meet with Me," a refreshing call to worship that starts with a passionate acoustic ensemble and soon leads to a fervent chorus that makes anyone want to sing along. other tracks such as ocean and healer are also great! i definitely recommend this album.

Interestingly enough my heavy rock fan dad burned this cd for me from his own collection. I am very pleased with the lyrics and all of the music. Rarely do I have a cd that I like all of the songs. I especially enjoy Healer, House Of Memories, Come Away, and Ocean. This cd has helped me with a new relationship with Christ and I reccomend this cd to everyone out there and I hope people enjoy it as much as I do.

I am not necessarily a big fan of this sort of music because there's often so much mediocre music (both Christian and otherwise) out there. This album helped change my mind.

My brother-in-law gave me this album last summer and I found myself listening to it every day in the car. Musically, this band is wonderful. I love the guitar work, especially on "Ocean." Lyrically, they speak directly to my heart and I find myself transported. In fact, the first time I heard the song "Much" I experienced a musical epiphany. I just wanted to play it over and over.

I felt as if I had settled into the warmth and purity of a close friendship of faith in Christ.

At the risk of hyperbole, this is simply the very best Christian album I have heard in too many years. I highly recommend it.

Ten Shekel Shirt came to lead Biola University in worship for 3 days last year and they sold the demo of this cd, and since the day i bought it, it has been my favorite. Their hearts for God are evident and their music is awesome! I highly recommend this cd if you love good music by good Christians.

A tremendous CD full of worship! This is a great buy. I wish I'd bought it long ago.

There's a powerful desire for worship that pours out of every song on this CD. I can't remember the last time I bought a CD and loved every song on it. I bought it knowing two tracks and found myself listening over and over to the entire CD.

The songs are pretty mellow and easy to understand. It's not too fast, and it's not too loud. If you like music at all and love to worship the King of Kings, you'll enjoy MUCH.

I've only heard tracks 1-8 from this album, courtesy of a tape mailed to me by a friend. She wanted me to hear an album by the group Siler's Bald, but there was so much extra room on the tape, that she stuck a little TSS on there, too. I was totally blown away! I rewind it over and over, just to hear songs like "ocean". This group is better than a lot of those who get onto the "WoW" compilation CD's. I have no doubt that Ten Shekel Shirt will get picked up soon by someone big, and be able to spread their message far and wide. Their songs have an honest, open message of praise, which reminds me of the original Jars of Clay album, but in a wholy different style. This group isn't bogged down by story-telling songs or symbolism... they shout their faith loud and clear. For someone who is a big fan of Third Day's "Offerings" and the worship songs of SonicFlood; Ten Shekel Shirt is right up there on my list.

They got it in one. The sound that college kids flock toward, and The Shirts nail it on the first try. This CD was a big surprise for me. I had never heard of these guys until I saw their album in a Christian music store. I took a complete chance on it, but it was okay because it was free, and besides, being a Christian band, they're worth at least a listen. What do you know; the gamble paid off again. These guys have a really great folksy sound (similar to that of Caedmon's Call), and on top of that, their lyrics are really smart and well-written. Ten Shekel Shirt isn't really well known, at least for now, but once people start checking them out, I think they will be before long. The standouts on this album for me were the title track ("Much") and "Meet With Me". The Christian folk set has some nice new neighbors, and hopefully they'll stick around for a while.

My daughter bought this CD and shared it with me. What a blessing!! This group brings you into worship with honesty and life!! I want to listen to this CD over and over!! It is truely a blessing. I plan to purchase my own copy of this CD.

This CD was one of the first CD's I purchased when I was first saved. It is so filled with the holy spirit, "it's awesome". Each and every song on this CD touches your heart. Every time I play it, it's like hearing it for the first time. I never get tired of hearing it...It is so powerful....I love music and this CD has it all...

Incredible....simply amazing. The best Christian album ever made. They followed this album by "Risk," and I don't know what happened to them after that.
