What a gentle and tasteful fusion of flamenco and jazz! Pure joy.

Have you ever done a double-take? I was changing channels and passing by one of those non-commercial cable channels that has a mix of foreign-language and off-beat programming. As I passed, I caught a sound that arrested my course. I doubled back and listened.

There was a beautiful Spanish woman singing in an equally beautiful voice. She had a spare back up section-- three guys, I think there were two guitars and a bass. But they made MUSIC.

Martirio's voice is warm and so expressive. She blends fado and jazz and flamenco beautifully. What a sound! What an artist! If you love music or artistry, listen. You will hear both in abundance.

I'll keep this short-take so you can get on to listening. Listen and see if you don't do a double-take yourself. WOW!

Disco bellissimo,registrato davvero in modo spettacolare,esalterà il vostro impianto,la voce di Martirio è o meglio non è assimilabile a quella di un essere umano,nè maschio nè femmina,è una bellissima fusione di entrambe le parti,quasi un angelo.Da ascoltare e riascoltare più e più volte,è una esperienza da vivere.

I like it besides 2.10 in music. Of course I can look by an animation in the you tube that Las Palmeras is the best, but a sound is slightly bad. Please take out DVD

This album is just that, intoxicating. It has a hypnotic effect that takes you from cover to cover. I hope she keeps making this kind of music. Is a meztizo mix of Flamenco, Jazz, and Afro-Cuban rythms, that makes love to your senses. The more you listen to it, the more you want to listen to it. Brava.
