The "Me-ow" letters come off after I hand-wash it twice. After one week, they were all gone. Now (about 2 weeks I used it), the black of one of the eyes and the edge of ears starts to come off. I use this product only once per day and hand wash it once per day as well. It is a cute bowl but with a vey bad quailty.
