Children of all ages can enjoy walking the real Mudgy Moose Trail and discovering five bronze statues of Mudgy and Millie, created by sculptor Terry Lee.

About the Author

A native of Spokane, Washington, Susan Hagen Nipp received her music degree from Whitworth College in 1966, and taught high school English and elementary music. In 1977, Susan and collaborator Pam Beall created Wee Sing, a line of children’s music books, storybooks, CDs, videos, and toys. More than eighty titles have been produced with sales reaching sixty million items worldwide. Wee Sing is used not only in the United States by educators and parents to teach traditional and original music, but also in Europe, Asia, and Africa to teach English through music. The authors continue to create and produce new book titles, write screenplays, oversee audio and video production, and compose music. They have traveled extensively, nationally and internationally, speaking at conferences, giving music workshops for teachers and parents, and entertaining children.

My two year old has requested Mudgy and Millie every night for the past 6 months (give or take a month). I'm not sure which is better, the story or the illustrations. Both are commendable. I cannot recommend this book enough, and wish the author and illustrator would team up for more. I strongly recommend this book.

I bought this book for my son before we went on a trip to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. What a great way to get him excited for the trip. When we arrived in CDA we did a little tour of CDA, with book in hand, and my son loved taking pictures with all bronze Mudgey & Millie statues around town! What a fun way to enjoy a vacation with kids and get familiar with your town! So glad we had this wonderful book and we can't wait to take it with us again this year!
