Great support and warmth! Comforting on a sore elbow.,

I bought this at my local grocery store although the name is printed smaller on the edge of mine, but otherwise it looks just like this one. I've had "tennis elbow" since Christmas this year due to a day of scraping lots of ice off our cars and shoveling. When it didn't get better within a few weeks of resting, ice, and self-massaging it, I began googling for answers and decided this was my problem.
This product does exactly what I needed and I think it only cost about $7-8 at my grocery store. It adjusts easily with velcro and I prefer to wear it over a thin turtleneck sleeve for softness and to keep it clean although next to the skin it is comfortable also. Seems to reduce the pain I feel although at first I could only wear it for a few hours at a time and then it would ache so I'd take it off. Don't give up!! Keep working with it. I used ice sometimes to if I had overused my arm on a particular day and that helped also. After a few days I realized it was feeling better the longer I left it on, and now I have been wearing it all day every day and I think it is getting much better. I can use my arm more comfortably when wearing it. I think the support is helping to keep me from re-injuring it during normal daily activities. What I didn't realize was how WARM it would get underneath it and I think that is helping also. I try to position it so the double layer part of the strap is right over the most tender spot in the muscle and the extra warmth feels wonderful. I will update again later if I have more information as my arm/elbow heals. I truly think my elbow was not improving any further until I started to use this. I love it!

This product worked exactly as expected. It eased pain due to tendonitis, was comfortable, and most importantly it was large enough to fit my arm.

I have used and owned more than 20 pairs of elbow supports and sleeves. This one by far exceeds the quality and performance of every other brace available. I have used a lot of braces for Tennis Elbow on both arms.
It is sturdy and does it job well. I used it for gymming with very heavy weight for the chest and triceps and it does what is supposed to do. It prevents further inflammation and also gives a chance for the elbow to heal. If you have Tennis or Golfers Elbow buy this.

Works great for the wrist.,

A couple of years ago a chiropractor suggested I get one and wear it to help the pain in my elbow. I wore it for a couple of days, the elbow quit hurting and I threw it in the bottom of a drawer. For the past several weeks my wrist has been hurting badly and getting worse every day. Over-the-counter pain relievers didn't touch the pain and I made up my mind that I would get an appointment with the chiropractor, Monday. In the meantime, I put the band just below my elbow and tightened it up. After some 20 minutes, I started feeling relief in the wrist and had to loosen it slightly. It's been on for about an hour and a half and I am nearly pain free - without "pain relievers." I didn't think to write a review when the band stopped my elbow pain, but I just couldn't ignore how much it helped me this time. I hope you find relief with your pain.
I use it by placing the "pressure pad" to the outside of my forearm. This puts the plastic buckle in the bend of my elbow. If the plastic buckle hurts your arm, move it slightly in the direction down toward the hand. If it feels too tight, loosen it. When the pain is gone, take it off and put it someplace where you can find it when you need it again. There are bands that are more expensive and sporty, but this one works fine. It's well made and should last a very long time.

Tennis Elbow Relief,

My wife was diagnosed with Tennis Elbow. The doctor recommended getting a support strap like this to see if it eased the pain. We ordered it and my wife wears it nearly every day and says that it does provide relief.

I've used many elbow straps over the years. This is by far the best. Well made and sturdy.

I feel great now,
This review is from: Mueller Tennis Elbow Support, Black, One Size (Health and Beauty)
Well, I never rate anything 5 stars but I can't figure out why I would rate this any less. Here's my situation...I started working out 3 months ago. Cardio and weights, just to improve my health. I am also a career server. I carry plates and big granite chargers for part of my job. Just recently I have had a lot of pain in my right elbow during my shoulder press and other shoulder exercises. It has been getting to the point where my muscles can handle more than my joint and that is STUPID! I started taking chondroiten and glycosamine and wearing this brace. Right away the brace changed everything. I can do shoulder presses and all of my shoulder weights w/o pain, chin ups and pull ups as well. I wear it at work and there is no pain. I started with a big, nagging pain in the A&% problem and now have none. I am so pleased that it has given me full, painless mobility back. It hurt before to lift a pillow from my bed, now, I'm like a normal girl! That's all. Hope my review helps.
P.s- I wear it tight! and so the gel is just below and on the outside of my elbow. I am 34, f.

This is a simpler version of tendon support than the others I've used; it's simply a velcro strap that adjusts around your arm with no pressure plate or insert for the problem area. I expected that it wouldn't help due to that, but it does help some. Easy enough to make, it reminds me of the first support band I made out of duct tape when I had to keep working. I also have a velcro strap with a luggage handle I adapted to do the same thing. Like this one, they are all far better than using an ACE bandage type wrap, which is wrong for this problem.
I don't recommend this as your only support strap, but it is easy to keep oriented (no orientation!) and may be the right one to use for some people, sometimes. I kept mine, but prefer others, like the Bandit and Serola. Cheap enough to keep around as a spare.

I use this as needed. I have a constant ache in my elbow area. This support helps reduce the pressure. I would recommend this for use in consort with alleve or other pain medicine.

Works, but clunky,
By SeaWalnut (US) - See all my reviews

Unnecessarily thick strap makes this too bulky to fit under many shirts, and also hard to adjust. I didn't return it, since it does help with tennis elbow, but wouldn't buy another. Oh, and the picture was flesh-tone; the product is black.
