Not the hockey puck excuses for pastries that Americans call scones or the over bicarbonated items called biscuits - the true scone known in Australia ( and all of england) is light served with jam and cream, or lemon curd and accompnies afternoon tea. You haven't lived till you try them. This book will show you how easy and it is ... oh and the breads and muffins are a treat as well.expat australian ;-) |
