I had the opportunity to read the ARC (Advance Reader Copy) of this book a while back, and I laughed out loud several times. It was a joy to read, and I'm happy to give it permanent "home page" status on my Kindle and my iPad.

If this isn't the funniest thing you can do with 99 cents I want to follow you around and see where you spend your money.

(Disclaimer: Randy Tayler is, in fact, my younger brother, and I did, in fact, write this review on his birthday. I AM NEVERTHELESS TOTALLY OBJECTIVE IN MY REVIEW OF THIS MAGNIFICENTLY FUNNY TOME.)

... is all you need for this book. Absurd, sardonic, and irreverent, internet humorist Randy Tayler takes you through his messed up, bacon-and-oreo-encrusted brain. And you will laugh at what you find there.

This made me laugh for about an hour, for 99 cents. Deals don't get much better than that. It's full of tweet-length jokes, which creates a kind of mitch hedberg effect throughout.

Randy is one of the most genuinely entertaining talents around. Because he has original ideas and doesn't lean on certain cliché comedic tropes, Randy is a pleasure to read. You get new, well-constructed, smart, creative, and natural bits of coolness.

And although I'm not 100% positive, I would wager that Randy probably holds open the door if he sees an old lady coming. He's just that kind of guy.

I thought i had a messed up mind then i spent a buck and found out that not only are there people more out there than me but that Howard is infact NOT "the funny one" in the family (reunions must be a riot).

I guess now i have something else to check in the mornings besides Schlock Mercenary.

Best dollar i've spent on an ebook yet.

I really enjoyed this quick-read collection. I already knew the author, so I already knew his sense of humor, but I think that anyone who isn't familiar with him might not enjoy or "get" this book. However, I really enjoyed it. Great buy for $0.99

Randy Tayler's Twitter compilation is funny, and it often induced fits of laugh-induced coughing when I read too many bits at once. I felt it was well worth the price, and I look forward to more such works from him.

I learned about Randy Tayler from his justifiably proud (and sometimes jealous?) older brother, Howard Tayler, and followed him on Twitter. I could not wait to buy this book, and I am not disappointed. Randy has a knack for squeezing an entire story into 140 characters or less. He looks at American cultural with the twisted perspective of a great humorist. Self-deprecating but never bitter, he sees the absurd in the absurd and embraces it anyway. Here's hoping he will find more time soon to dedicate to making me laugh.
