Marta Sánchez se lanza como solista con un álbum increíble, logrando la categoría de clásico. Desde la primera canción hasta la ultima Marta nos deslumbra con su rango vocal, que va desde algunos graves muy dulces como en la canción "De Mujer A Mujer" hasta agudos que ponen piel de gallina como en "Lejos De Aquella Noche". La producción es impecable, logrando un sonido sin tiempo, aun hoy en 2011 suena muy bien. "Mujer" es un álbum que se puede tocar desde el principio hasta el fin sin pasar por alto ningún track, cosa que no ocurre muy a menudo con discos pop, este trabajo tiene una consistencia increíble. Altamente recomendado para aquellos que saben apreciar una buena voz ensamblada con una muy buena producción musical. La Sánchez se apodera del pop latino re inventando el sonido del mismo, dándole una bocanada de aire fresco y original, mereciendo sin lugar a duda cinco estrellas por el intento y logro del mismo. De más está decir que este disco contiene uno de los clásicos del pop latino mas grande de los 90s "Desesperada" ya solo por esa canción vale la pena comprar el álbum completo.

Just like the cd, I was desesperada to find this cd. Her music is out of this world. Her voice is just out there, and if you like song or should I say singers with that beautiful accent,she is one of them. I recomend it to anyone who likes rock music, even better if you enjoy all kinds of music like I do.

I don't know what can I say about Marta Sanchez. But I'll start by saying that her songs remind me so much memories when I was younger, this memories are love memories.
About the way she sings, it's wonderful, she's got rythm, she's got a beautiful voice. I've half german and half latin blood, and I love latin music, I don't know why, maybe because spanish is a so romantic language !!!

A friend of mine kept telling me about this Cd, and I sort of figured that because I am not of Hispanic or Latin decent, that I wouldn't like the CD, Man, was I ever wrong... Marta has a beautiful expressive voice, and I love the song Eso Es El Soul.
I will positively, purchase more of Marta's CD's in the future!!

this cd brings backs so many memories, mainly of being in SPain when it came out and witnessing how huge Marta was destined to become. i love the songs "mujer a mujer" "desesperada" "nube de verano" and the ultra sexy "tal vez."

My introduction to Sanchez was the album "Mi Mundo," which I was nuts about. This album seemed watered down and an obvious grab for total mainstream success....the result was music that contained none of the originality and bite of "Mi Mundo", and I wouldn't recommend it at all.

A friend of mine burned a copy of this cd and gave it to me to check out. I just LOVE Marta's voice and the way she show's expression. I know this cd has been around for a while.. but I don't care. I still play it very often.
I espically love "Eso Es El Soul". Who wrote that song?
They should get that person to write for Marta"s next group of songs... Keep it up Marta. I can't wait to hear your next works.

Marta Sanchez is such a hot babe! The song Desesperada I remember when it came out was like a copy of Ace of Base, but it still brings many good memories. This album is ok for nice commercial pop. I have the remixes of Desesperada and there is some really nice work that Eric Kupper did to revamp that thing and turn it into a house-trance thriller. And that was back in 94! Marta used to be in a really camp 80s new wave group in Spain called Ole Ole. If you are lucky maybe you will find an album by Ole Ole. I had to find it in a record store in Tijuana. A worthwhile buy.
