The material is soft and smooth to the skin, and I hope to have an hourglass shape one day.

I need something with a little more structure that won't bend and crease on the first wearing.

It was fairly easy to lace by myself, feels pretty sturdy, and looks cute.

Yes, the boning is plastic, but I only tighten my corsets to fit my frame without sliding.

I received a rather rude letter, stating that leather is stretchy (but it is polyester!)

As much as I absolutely detest reviews begun with that, well, there it is.

First, I would like to say, I've researched corsets for years. As in, almost a decade. I know what every piece is, what it is there for specifically, and how it is meant to be there, for dreams of building my own custom corsets.

That being said, I'm in a financial state that won't let me buy a custom made corset, and my sewing machine is broken. I figured, why not buy a cheap fashion corset and see what it's like? So I did. This is my first, cheap fashion corset. It is almost exactly what I expected.

Disclaimer aside, now, for those of you who are interested in WAIST TRAINING (i.e A PERMANENT CHANGE TO YOUR BODY), this is NOT what its purpose is. If you are interested in waist training and want to see a cheap corset up close and practice lacing, etc, by all means, go ahead! If you think this will give you a permanent hourglass shape with long term wear, look elsewhere. And elsewhere means, somewhere that doesn't sell FASHION corsets. I'm sure this sounds condescening, but I'm not meaning it to come off that way. I'm sick of reading reviews on Muka corsets by ill-advised customers for recieving exactly what they ordered. These corsets are built with plastic boning, for a waist training corset you have to have steel boned corsets, not only that, but more substantial cloth that can take the pull. If you try to waist train with this, it will BREAK. No way around it. It is NOT designed for waist training.

Now my review: This is almost exactly what I expected. I decided to stay open minded, but it's actually a little bit better than I believed I was getting. Yes, the boning is plastic, but I only tighten my corsets to fit my frame without sliding. There is only one layer of cloth.

I should have been tipped off by the ribbon closure, but to be fair I've seen custom, steel boned corsets come with ribbons. I need something with a little more structure that won't bend and crease on the first wearing. I returned it and here's warning to anyone purchasing this: the Amazon affiliate said they "don't usually return corsets" but would make an exception but would charge a 20% restocking fee. Extra star for nice shiny satin that could look like almost-leather.

I received this corset today and I am pretty pleased with it. It was fairly easy to lace by myself, feels pretty sturdy, and looks cute. However, it does not feel like the sturdy metal boning that I have felt in other (more expensive) waist cinchers, but hey, you do get what you pay for. I would recommend this for anyone who wants some tummy control or just an elegant sexy look in the bedroom.

Black Fetish Corset with G-string Set (black)
The lacing eyelets need to be set in a firm not stretch fabric panel so they will not pull out.( the material used to make the corset is not strong enough to stand even moderately tight lacing )

I got this for a halloween costume i was going to do this year. It took 4 days to process which it clearly stated it was going to take 4-5 days to process and then it shipped yesterday morning and i surprisingly received it today! They ship from MA, and i live in NY so no figure. It came with a G- String which was a shock lol , These tend to run small so get a size bigger if you want to have a nice fit to lace in tighter, if that makes sence... ** the only thing that sucks really is the ribbon lace is not strong enough to tug in as tight as you can go and also the holes that the lace are in already teared because i tightened it too tight for the corset... but all in all its a good corset for the price and for a halloween costume or just to play around in the bedroom!

This is my third Muka Waist cincher, and the first one with which I have been unhappy! I like a tight corset that holds my figure together ;) which the others did wonderfully. This one however is made of extremely stretchy material which just bulges instead of holding you together. All that said I was sad but not angry until I contacted the seller to return this item!

I received a rather rude letter, stating that leather is stretchy (but it is polyester!) & cloth isn't, that my item is non returnable & will be inspected thoroughly inspected upon arrival.
I have to pay for return shipping & if it passes inspection after which there is the 50% restocking fee they are going to charge me I may get a third of what I originally spent back, unless I buy something else!? WTF!!! unfrackin believable!

So I although I do still support the Muka brand I can not recommend the OpenTip store after this.

Also I found another brand that is really well made & seems good for waist training so far (True Corset) and can also be found on Amazon!
