It is obvious that Paul McCartney loves this place. This has the feel of an old song, but it was written about his own property. We love it!

Ok, bagpipes are an acquired taste. Love'em or hate'em. I love their sound. This song was released around 1980, or so. Denny Lane claimed song-writing credit with Paul McCartney. Apple iTunes bought up exclusive distribution rights to the Beatle's songs, or so I've read, so I wasn't sure I could find this one at Amazon. Well, luckily I could. A great piece.

One of the best pieces he wrote post-Beatles, very simple in terms of chords but just instant classic sound and spectacular bag-pipes. Being from GB originally, always associate this song with Christmas time.

Mull Of Kintyre
This song is as great as it was 30+ years ago. A wonderful, sentimental tune about a safe and much loved home. Sentiment and pipes for an old American Scot. What more can you ask for?
