An Advanced Look at Veterinary Dermatology,
By A Customer
This review is from: Muller and Kirk's Small Animal Dermatology, 6e (Hardcover)
This book contains all the information a practitioner would need to practice high quality veterinary dermatology. However, it may be too advanced for many general practitioners who may want to look at more clinically minded books. This book is well referenced and the use of the references is accurate. When the experience of the authors is used it is clear to the reader. The most problamatic chapters have to do with the structure and function of skin, where the author tends to shift subjects and alternates the detail to which the subject is covered - sometimes in the same sentance!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Muller & Kirk's Small Animal Dermatology, 5th Edition (Hardcover)
I purchased this book as it was recommended by my dermatology professors. It is fully loaded with information (excellent to refer to). I have used this book while on rotations as a reference as well as an aid in understanding and learning about disease processes. It covers recommendations for treatment as well as prognosis. There are pictures and diagrams, however, not meeting my expectations. I had to refer to other books for pictures that better represented the disease I was researching.
