This is a nice quality stand for any tablet or smart phone. The front is made of aluminum and the back leg is made of plastic. It can support 11 pounds so it is quite strong even though it only weighs 6 and 1/8th ounces. It is made for e-Readers, tablets and phones and it is ideal for use on your desk or while you travel. It has silicon rubber bumpers to protect your tablet from being scratched and a silicone channel that your tablet sets into. The silicon channel is easily removed if your tablet is in a case and some cases will fit into the channel and work. My Otterbox Defender case would not fit. There are also rubber feet on the bottom of the aluminum stand to keep it from sliding easily.

There is a push button to allow you to easily adjust the tilt angle and it lets you set the angle you prefer. You can set it into an angle to watch a video, read or type. It is ideal for using on a plane for holding your tablet on the pull down tray. When you release the button the stand locks into the angle you have set. You can even set the stand up and have your tablet or smart phone record a video while it is set up. Your tablet can be mounted in the landscape or portrait mode. There is even a notch cut out to allow you to touch the home button on an iPad.

I put together a video to show you the stand. It is attractively designed and it is a nice accessory for your smart product. It is priced well and is a good quality product. I rated it at 5 stars.

I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation and I promised to provide a fair and honest review.

This product is perfect for my Grandmother.

She has a 10 inch Samsung Galaxy and it is too heavy for her to hold for too long to play her games.

We looked everywhere for a stand for it, but none of them held up to Grandma poking at it with her stylus....always fell over.

Not anymore! This item is perfect. Had anti-skid on the bottom, doesn't topple over when Grandma really gets going with her stylus...it is amazing. Thank you thank you!!!

Great sturdy product
I have an iPad air in a apple leather case and it holds it perfectly while still in the case.

I purchased for use with iPad but the stand is so small, it becomes top heavy when trying to use with iPad. I am very disappointed it isn't more functional.
Update: 1/9/2014
Company noticed my review and credited the entire purchase price back to me without requiring I return their product. Excellent customer service. You just couldn't ask for more attentive, concerned customer care. I am totally impressed.

Nice, simple design. Exactly what I wanted to use in the kitchen for looking up recipes and just general work at a table. It locks into place and I don't have to worry about it sliding out of its shape.

I probably spent too much time looking for a stand for my Google Nexus 7 that would meet all my requirements, but I am very pleased with the purchase of the Anker Multi-Angle Portable Stand. First, the stand allows me to position my tablet from almost flat to almost vertical. This is key for all the different ways I use my tablet and phone.

I had two primary goals when looking for a stand for my tablet:
1) Be able to vary the angle of the tablet from almost flat to almost vertical
2) The stand had to fold or collapse into a configuration that was easily portable

The Anker Multi-Angle Portable Stand was the only stand I could find that met both those requirements. I've now been using the stand for a week and am very pleased that it easily met my requirements and exceeds my expectations in some other ways.

1) The stand folds almost completely flat and easily fits into a small case or carry-on
2) The stand is very sturdy at any angle making it easy to type and navigate sites without worrying about knocking over the tablet.
3) Even when positioned to hold the tablet almost vertical for video conferencing, it still feels stable

it is a bit heavier than I was expecting but that's a fair trade-off for the strength, stability and flexibility of the stand. The only change I would make is to add a couple more non-skid pads on the front of the cradle so that it could prop up a tablet at an even lower angle by just resting on the folded up stand. Give it a try. You're going to love it.

I bought it mainly because of all the rave reviews posted by other customers, but I was very much disappointed when I received it, it looks poorly designed and made, the plastic button you press to adjust the angle is not smooth at all, what's worse is one edge of the metal piece is really rough and unpolished, which makes the whole thing look like something half done, check out the picture I posted, you will see how bad it looks. One side note, when I bought it a few days ago, it was only $9.95, now I see the price has been jacked up by 20% already, what a shame, especially for such a piece of junk. I am returning it back to amazon for a refund.

Works with 7, 8 and 9 inch Tablets. It is very solid and holds firmly on the surface even if you touch the edges of the tablet in horizontal-landscape mode. I bought it along with the Arkon Portable Fold-Up Stand (B000CKVOOY so I could test both, and this is the winner by far. Don't let the size fool you, this will not only let your view movies, it will accept constant contact with your tablet.

I ordered the Anker stand because the built-in portion of my iPad Mini's cover just wasn't doing the job anymore. I was pleased with the shipping, the packaging and the device -- it is aluminum and matches Apple devices fine. It appears to be "infinitely" adjustable with some clutch mechanism that works....well, everywhere that I've tried it. The base is, as some others have noted, somewhat "thin" in the slot where the iPad rests -- thick cases will have to set on top of the base rather than in the provided slot. My case was fairly thin and set in just fine. The stand seems much sturdier than others I considered, and I recommend it.

I bought this stand to use with my Anker 7 port USB 3.0 Hub and love it! It is very durable and looks and feels great! Please have a look at the user images for an idea of how it fits. I'm very happy with this item and the combination with the hub. If you were looking into a similar setup I highly recommend it!
