Nice lights, worth every penny I spent. The only thing that I dislike is that when the lights are on sound mode, The lights still flash when the music is not playing. Overall, great set, and its an easy install.

Best and easiest upgrade to do on your car. Provides great lighting to the interior...easy install plus affordability is not match by others. Highly recommended....i dont recommend wiring to your battery, it cause you headaches in routing the wires from outside to inside, plus a ground could cause you problem in the future, the wires aren't heavy duty wires..they are not thermally tested and could deteriorate in time under the hood and coz ground in the chassis. To install i suggest buying the "road pro cigarette 12v plug with wires"...change the built in fuse on "road pro" from 2amps to 10amps.. so it doesnt blow the fuse, rendering your 12v plug useless( fuse is $1 at homedepot, to remove fuse just unscrew the head or tip of "road pro" and insert the new fuse). Tie the wires together, crimped..taped them..plug your 12v cig plug to ur car's outlet and see if the lights work. Once you confirmed..install the lights using zip ties under your dash or seats..i suggest to use zip ties than screwing the lights in, i think its better than making holes in your car..there ya go enjoy your led lights.

These are better than I could have ever asked for, I've never bought LED Kits, and didn't even do research on them before buying this kit, so I was worried these wouldn't be bright enough, and wouldn't look anything like they do in the pictures, BUT, once I got these bad boys installed in my car, I was instantly blown away.

Pros
--------
- Very bright, probably the perfect amount of brightness
- Looks absolutely insane at night
- The control box makes this LED Kit even more sick, with the music mode and the sensitivity you can set this to be in sync with your music.
- For $35, this is the BEST LED Kit your money can buy.

Cons
--------
- To be COMPLETELY honest, I can't list a single con for this item, it's everything I was wanting and more, and it just blew my mind how perfect this kit is.

The product arrived in 3 days and includes all the hardware required to complete the install. Some wiring will be required to connect this to your car's 12V power source but is no big brainer. I'm going to order more after I'm done with the install.

The instructions could have been more detailed but just for reference:
1. The Black/Red wire is +ve
2. The Black solid wire is -ve

If you're even moderately capable of wiring car electronics, this lighting kit isn't hard to do at all. I added it to my 2007 Subaru STI because I really liked the way floor pan lights add to the look of a car's interior. Probably the only drawback is I don't see a way to dim them, and some of these colors at full intensity can get pretty distracting.

The way these work is simple, and the installation instructions aren't too hard to follow. The best way to do this is to:

1) Temporarily connect everything to verify all parts work
2) Run each set of lights to the appropriate positions in the car. You'll notice that two have longr wires: those are for the back seats.
3) Run the wiring: one wire grounds on bare metal, another (the red) goes to the fuse box. Follow the instructions, and verify again that all four are still working.
4) Use zip ties to secure all four lights, then secure the wires. You want to be sure they tuck away out of sight and especially that driver's-side wires are tied well above the footwell and nowhere near the pedals or other moving parts (such as a tilt steering wheel).

I'd expected to use the blue glow but ended up liking red a lot better. The three buttons on the panel let you turn the lights on or off, switch modes (sound-responsive or steady), and switch colors, including a Christmas-tree-like color blinking mode. There is a dial on one side of the control box that controls sound sensitivity so you can dampen the number of flashes it gives off.

Overall I've been really pleased with the installation, the instructions, and the way this kit works. It was a fun add-on that I did in an afternoon alongside some other auto interior projects.

These lights are so nice!! I tried running them from the fuse box but for some reason it wasn't working for me. Instead I ran them straight to the battery. The colors are really vibrant and there's a lot of color selection and patterns. The sound mode does work in my opinion. The control box is on the left side by my steering wheel and the colors change to the beat of the music.

Installation- it was a pain but well worth it. After resolving the fuse box issue it was time to set up the led lights. I put two under the dashboard and two under the front seats to give the back row a glow. The lights come with screws and a 3M double sided tape for the control box. I didn't really want to use screws but in the end I had to go ahead and screw in the two dashboard lights. The holes are really small and barely visible. It's also sturdier than just using tape. The ones under the front seats were the toughest ones. No room to drill and double sided tape wouldn't stick. I had to get myself a roll of Velcro since my front seats have a carpet like material that Velcro sticks to. I cut out a lot of strips to insure that they were sturdy. I was also able to run the wires discretely and they are not even visible. The cables did hang down from the control box, getting in the way of the pedals so I also wrapped them with Velcro attaching them to some of the wires under the dashboard and now it's safe to drive!! :)

This is an amazing product the its price. I installed it in a 2001 Honda Prelude. I wanted something to light up when my doors opened. So I wired these to the door switch and now every time I open the door it lights up the color I set it at.

Pros:
-Fairly easy install if you know what you are doing.
-Remote controller lets you chose different colors and different strobing effects, or sound mode.
-You can angle the lights to light up really bright or just a dim glow.
-It adds a nice touch to your interior.

Cons:
-The remote controller can sometimes limit you, it's hard to find a place for it.
-The sound mode doesn't work well, although I didn't buy it for that purpose

Based on other reviews I grabbed a fuse tap, a friend and a glass of scotch and got to work.

I really expected this to be a disaster because I've never done a cosmetic mod like this before, especially to an auto interior. But we layed it out ahead of time. Tucked wires under the center console trim. Used twist ties to tuck cable under the dash. I used a roll of 1cm 3M doublestick foam tape to mount the light bars so I could reposition them later if necessary, this saved me from having to drill into the interior to mount the bars.

Start to finish was maybe 90 minutes, and that was mostly due to the weird fuse box on the Nissan Juke, and finding a spot under the driver's side dash to mount.

Here are a couple technical tips:

1. If you have "low profile" fuses, like some Nissans and many Lexuses? (Lexi?) a fuse tap can be hard to use. On the Juke at least there is plenty of clearance above the fuses so you can still use a regular fuse as long as the width is correct, it will just stick out of the box. this makes the fuse tap much easier to use.

2. At first I thought the sound sensitive feature wasn't working well; if you tape the control box low in the footwell like I did, you have to crank the music to party levels. More bass helps. But without it being uncomfortably loud, it did kick in and actually worked surprisingly well.

If your carpet and interior is dark, lights placed under the seats will not reflect a lot of light very well, so make sure you aim the sticks outward and as close to the edge as possible / without looking awful.

All, in all I'm shocked at how easy this was, and how good the product works for the price. The kit seems pretty sturdy and if you take time to install it well, it should last for a while.

Overall, very pleased with the product.

These lights are very easy to install. It draws only about 250mA and came with its own fuse. The lights are bright and look great. As mentioned in every other review they just don't follow the music very well but the effects during the music are still enough to create the impression that they are. If you just want some cheap lights to add some effects to your car this product is great. If you need assistance with installation, I documented my install and can be viewed here:

All in all, a great kit that is very easy to install. Provides a very nice mood lighting, but dont expect it to light up your entire car. Here are a couple improvements they could make:
1. Wires are too short. I put these lights in a 370z which has a very small interior. I mounted the controller in my console and the LED wires that i mounted under my dash barely reached. The wires have literally no slack. Also the power wires wouldnt reach my fuse box, had to extend them by about 3 feet. If i put the controller anywhere else, at least one LED bar wouldnt reach my desired location.
2. LED wires are hard wired to conroller. They cannot be unplugged for installation. This means whatever holes that have to be drilled need to be large enough to either fit the LED bars or the contoller through.
3. Controller was poorly planned. All of the led wires come out the bottom of the controller and power wires come out the top. All should come out the back so that the controller can be mounted and still look good. If you mount the controller on a dash or something, you will have wires coming out from the top and bottom of the controller, just looks sloppy. If you are buying this product, find a hidden place to mount the conroller
4. Sound mode doesnt follow the music that well.

All in all, great product for the money. Easy to install.
