It will accommodate many different sizes because it is adjustable and can be taped tightly around the book.

I was a little nervous from the other not-so-glowing reviews here, but I got my boxes and put together a mailing over a few days. During that time, I used about 65 of the boxes, and I was thoroughly pleased with how they turned out. Honestly, I would choose these boxes 10 times out of 10 for putting together a mailing. Sometimes they could be a little bit tempermental, but I am talking about maybe 4 boxes out of the 65 that I used. The vast majority of them were absolutely perfect. Just buy them, you're gonna love them!

These are some of the cheapest multi-fold mailers around, but you get what you pay for. The cardboard is very thin. I'll use these for paperbacks, but I wouldn't trust them for hardcovers or anything heavy.

Yes, they are very thin -- 1/16" thin, to be exact! In fact, if you squeeze too tightly in-between thumb and forefinger, you can actually make an indentation and crush the fluted cardboard inside that comprises the corrugation in-between the very thin outside sheets. Thank God that you get the side flaps, or this product might not give the support needed during shipment. I was planning on using bubble wrap inside, but now I'm thinking I might need more cardboard support, too. That will negate the money I thought I was going to save by using these boxes to mail comic books, instead of envelopes with two sheets of cardboard, which are twice the thickness of these and give all the support I need, but are twice the cost of one of these boxes.

The scores where you bend the boxes to adjust the height have very shallow indentations and are very hard to see and feel. This would have been much better with perforated scores. So, what you need to do is lay the open box down on a stable horizontal surface and lay a straightedge like a sturdy ruler in front of the score you want to bend, and then it's much easier. The boxes seem to want to bend at the most shallow depth of 1/2", so be careful of that if you want a deeper box.

The thinness will reduce some of the weight and lower the cost of shipping, so that is a plus. But I do wish that they were about twice as thick as they are. Once the box is folded, it feels sturdy enough, but let's see if it survives the rigors of a trip through USPS land. If I don't get any complaints, I guess it will be okay.

The boxes are the cheapest multi-depth ones of the size we could find. Overall, they are great. It's a little difficult to get the boxes to bend on the perforations without the bend "moving" to an adjacent perforation because the cardboard isn't extremely rigid, and the perforations are a little "rough" on the outside when folded; however, these aren't big issues. We found the cardboard on other boxes to be a little sturdier, but that also meant they were heavier for shipping; the cardboard on these boxes is certainly plenty sturdy that it's not an issue. Overall, this is a great product at a great price that we would recommend and will be purchasing again.

These mailers are very versatile in that they can be folded at various marked points to facilitate different number of books inside. As a new publisher, this is a great feature, since I may have between 2-4 books to send at any time.

This is a great invention for mailing different thicknesses. I've had no complaints for customers when using this box. I do wrap items in bubble wrap first before folding. It's not a good idea to send out items that are too large so that the corners stick out. Even with extra padding at the corners, the book was not received in good condition, of course, was my fault and not the mailers fault, just an FYI.

I bought these to ship small hand made trinkets. These were the smallest size boxes I could find at a reasonable price. I got what I paid for......They are not good for anything fragile or delicate unless you want to double them up. I am sure they are just perfect for shipping books (which is their intended purpose)

Then the shipping......all they do is bundle a pile of boxes together with straps and slap a shipping label on it. Many of the boxes were damaged by the bundling straps. Additionally, the bottom box got filthy in transit, and the top box was useless because of the shipping label stuck on it. It is a very odd thing for a seller to not package something that was purchased. Imagine if you bought a shirt online and the seller glued a stamp right on the front pocket and threw it in the mail.
