5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it's supposed to!
I bought a pair of these for my two garage door openers (less than a year old Chamberlain's) to replace the standard "doorbell" type button. The main premise was to get the "LIGHT" button so I could turn on the lights without having to actually open the door (and have them stay on.) Install of both units took less than 5 minutes (same wires, red/white) and the big giant...

3.0 out of 5 stars Replacing older Lift Master interior door openers
Caution: the older Lift Master interior door openers are no simple replacements with the new version. For example, this model was used to replace my 20 year old model since it had a small light behind the large button. Both models had three buttons; one for door opening, one for door locking and one for turning on the light with the door. Old model has four wires to do...

5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it's supposed to!, January 25, 2012

I bought a pair of these for my two garage door openers (less than a year old Chamberlain's) to replace the standard "doorbell" type button. The main premise was to get the "LIGHT" button so I could turn on the lights without having to actually open the door (and have them stay on.) Install of both units took less than 5 minutes (same wires, red/white) and the big giant button is easier to see at night.

Not sure if it truly makes any difference, but I made sure that the "red/white" wires matched up, so when I removed my doorbell type buttons, I looked to see if the wires matched up with the labels on the backside.

The "lock" feature is nice as well since it locks out all radio signals. Cheap, simple, and does what it's supposed to!

4.0 out of 5 stars High Compatibility, October 10, 2011

Works fine on my Lift Master garage door opener. It was easy to connect the wires. I like the large lighted button and the turn on light only button. It is very convenient to turn on the light and open the garage door separately. The plastic was a little fragile and easy to break. Other than that it is a great product.

Fast delivery. Wanted my son to install it but he convinced me that I could do it. So I did and it only took me about 10 mins. Works Great...

Fastshipping and easy install. Its exactly like the original
except for the panel lighting. It now has a center spot led
instead of the full panel illumination. Seems more sturdy.

The unit was an exact drop in replacement for a damaged wall mounted control panel. It was shipped in a timely manner and I am happy with the purchase price.

Caution: the older Lift Master interior door openers are no simple replacements with the new version. For example, this model was used to replace my 20 year old model since it had a small light behind the large button. Both models had three buttons; one for door opening, one for door locking and one for turning on the light with the door. Old model has four wires to do the hookup, but new model has only two, because the new model has a different circuit board in the Lift Master main control which only needs two wires. Thus, you can use it to replace the door opening, but not the locking or turning on the light.
