Jeremy Malcolm is an Australian scholar and lawyer specialising in Internet governance, IT and communications law, intellectual property and licensing. He is a Director of the Internet Society of Australia and an Executive Committee member of the Western Australian Internet Association.

More About the Author

Jeremy Malcolm is an information technology and intellectual property lawyer and IT consultant with a research interest in Internet governance. He is admitted to the bars of the Supreme Court of Western Australia (1995), High Court of Australia (1996) and Appellate Division of New York (2009). Jeremy completed his PhD thesis in Law at Murdoch University in 2008 which was the first doctoral examination of the Internet Governance Forum. Until his most recent appointment Jeremy was the principal of Western Australia's first specialist IT law firm. Jeremy currently works for Consumers International as its Project Coordinator for Intellectual Property and Communications. He lives in Kuala Lumpur with his wife and son.
