Got this installed today and, so far so good. All the USB 3.0 ports work, as well as all the media card slots I have any need of. power and PCI-e cables are good on length, but the USB connector could have done with another few inches. So far I haven't been able to get the standard USB 2.0 slot to work, but with 4 working 3.0 ports I don't really care. My one real gripe is fit and finish. It's just a fraction of an inch too big in all dimensions to easily fit in my case. I had to shave down the plastic on the front panel to get it to fit and the screw holes don't line up with the brackets. At all. Fortunately? because the dimensions are off it's wedged in tight enough that this shouldn't be a problem.

Because of the price and the features I'm giving it a pass, but I can't recommend it if you want a hassle free installation. +4 on features, -1 for fit and finish.

Not the best quality product hence the title. The cables are a little short and the USB 2.0 port was doa out of the box. The 3.0 ports work sometimes but the card reader does work.

I haven't played with it much yet but it is a pretty basic card reader. I like that it uses the PCI-e port for the USB 3.0 my main board has USB3.0 ports on the back but no expansion header for it. The case of the reader was a little deformed, so not the greatest of quality but it really didn't matter after I mounted it in my PC case.
