This product is awesome! I have been using this for night fishing a few times and have not even put a single battery into it. The light is great. I love how I can listen to NOAA, AM, and FM radio. The solar panel works very well and the cranker is awesome. I truly recommend this product.

I bout a couple - 1 for my emergency pack, one I take with me backpacking. It is absolutely perfect.

Radio: In town, I get great reception without extending the antenna. Extending the antenna helps when I'm remote. Sound its loud and clear, and the tuning LED is a plus. NOAA list of frequencies is listed right on the unit - great for weather reports and advisories.

Lantern: The hanger allows you to hang it anywhere, and lights up a full area well. More than enough light for my tent on low, plenty of light for around the tent outside to cook, get fire going, whatever.

Charging: charges from solar, hand crank dynamo, or USB. Lasts for hours with radio and lantern on. Charging from dynamo takes effort - you'll be cranking a lot. I like how the charging LED fades or gets brighter as your sunlight gets weaker or stronger when charging with solar. I usually start with a full charge from the USB.

USB output: Charges my iPhone well. This REALLY comes in handy.

Something they don't tell you that is great - its pretty light weight.

really glad to have gone with the lantern style emergency lantern/radio. My vision returned shortly after looking into the light wow very bright. great reception on the radio channels. only correction i would make is on the manual it says it takes 3 AAA batteries. The chamber is actually 3 AA. Here's hoping i only use it for camping.

It does everything it says. USB charges if you have battery only though, which is why I took out one star, leaving it with four stars. Overall, I'm very happy. Highly recommend it.

This was just what I wanted. The light was very bright if you want to read or you can turn it down to a dimmer light. It is easy to crank and the radio works perfectly.

Bought several of these lights for ourself and family members. It is very light and feels like a kids toy but it is not. I cranked the unit for about a minute and left the LED's burning to see how long. Well I went to bed and they were still burining bright. Radio is ok but the NOAA feature worked well and that is what most of us needed. Have not been able to get it to charge the cell phone yet but will keep trying. The unit throws a lot of light in dark areas. Gonna get a few more

We moved to an area which gets "ice storms" in the winter. After hearing all the stories of outages we thought we had better get something to provide light that didn't take batteries and electricity. We are very pleased with this lantern. It came very quickly and works great! It provides a lot of light (2 settings) and the radio works well. It isn't very big so very portable and doesn't take much "winding" to produce a lot of light.
