Book Description

Artech House Computer Security Series June 2003
A handbook for engineers, architects and other practitioners working in the field of Internet security. It presents detailed coverage of security technologies and techniques for IP (Internet protocol) multicast networks from the leading developer of the standards. It also examines important security issues relating to other group communication technologies. Algorithms and protocols for multi-party secure communication are included. Technical managers could use this volume as a guide to the state of multicast and group security, without necessarily having to know all the detailed algorithms. Computer scientists and research and development personnel could use it as a survey of the technologies, approaches and algorithms used to provide a secure multicast solution.

5.0 out of 5 stars Is simply amazing !, January 21, 2009
This review is from: Multicast and Group Security (Artech House Computer Security Series) (Hardcover)
I recommend strongly this book because it collects hundreds of papers and publications that are difficult to find. We do not have acces to any of them.
Another important aspects is that it explains all the state of the art of IP multicast and security. However, the reader should complement this information with Application Layer Multicast and Overlay Multicast, which solve many of the security problems.
Particularly it is usefull for the evaluation on security that I am applying to my new architecture for my PhD Thesis. It also resumes many of the things that are explained by Prof. Atwood from Concordia University.

regards and good luck, Carlos
