More About the Author

Jim Shuman is a Faculty Emeritus at Bellevue College where he taught Flash, Web Development and Introduction to Computers.
He served six years as the chairman of the Business Division, managed the Interactive Multimedia Resource Center and was instrumental in developing the Media Communications and Technology program at the college. Jim spent eight years as a project director for the National Workforce Center for Emerging Technologies (an NSF funded Advanced Technology Center) where he managed a team of multimedia developers, Flash animators and web specialists in the development of interactive courseware.

Jim has made numerous presentations at national and international conferences including The League for Innovation, AACC, Course Technology, TechEd, CTC Instructional Technology, and the Soviet Academy of Sciences (Moscow). Jim taught at the National Computer Educators Institute - California State University, and spent a year in China teaching computer applications and international trade at the Shanghai International Studies University.
