ive had this keyboard for 5-6 months now and there is nothing wrong with it at all. couple of people have said that the ink wears off the keys after months of use. i have not had that problem and i use it about every day for maybe 3-6 hours and i use to play games with as well and the WSAD keys have the most wear and they look the same as all the rest do just as bright as when i bought it. as far as typing on it goes its a little different from what i have used in the past. the keys are flat like most any laptop keyboard and close together but they alot stiffer than most keyboards i didnt like it at first but the more i used it the more i began to like it. and typing on it is pretty quiet, if your like me and type smooth but solid with light keystrokes. the home, delete, end, page up, page down keys are differently placed than most other standard keyboards. they are vertically placed with the Delete key and home key on the left with Pg up, pg down, and end key on the right. the delete key is the same size as the enter key. i thought it was weird at first but i found i liked that cause it makes delete easier to hit. the volume buttons are nice and conveniently placed at the top right of the keyboard. i mostly just bought this to get away from gaming keyboards ive bought several gaming keyboards only to find them to lock up and unusable after a month of use. after this HP one breaks (whenever it does) i'm straight up buying a new one cause i love it!

When the keyboard on my office computer "died' I wanted the same model, I love this for the soft buttons and angle it can sit at. By far my favorite keyboard I've ever used.

Looking for a replacement keyboard this is it! Like the volume control on the keyboard and brand name HP! Size is good too.

This product is actually model #KB38211 and specifically not model #KU-0841. I wanted an exact replacement of the #KU-0841 because the silver trim around the edge of that keyboard matches my HP Pavilion desktop exactly and looked nicer. The keyboard itself is very similar though. So, I can't complain too much. The keyboard that was delivered is a bit slimmer and the buttons don't have the same tactile clickyness that my old keyboard had. This has an all black matte finish and feels just alot cheaper than my old keyboard. One positive change about this keyboard is that the plastic they used for the buttons themselves have a textured and sandpapery feel that I really do like. It almost makes up for the loss of button action / clickyness that was so satisfying in the #KU-0841 keyboard that I was replacing. Ultimately, its an OK keyboard, but at the price of $25 I expected an exact replacement and the quality of this one is lacking.

I have trouble gripping things because of a neck fusion. Oops coke spilled on the keyboard. The keys became so sticky and nothing would fix them. I wanted the same keyboard as I had. This one had the same item number but the picture is totally different. Kudos to the package guy...padded nicely. It was the same one I had...yeah!!

I had been using the old one for three years and I'm comfortable with the keys and their placement. The letter & number decals were not worn despite constant use. I do luv the volume control. The price was surprising reasonable. I would recommend it.

The photo and description is for a HP 505060-371 a keyboard I had and loved. AMAZON SENT me a HP QD949AA HP Keyboard we can not even find drivers for any where. Even HP doesn't provide a driver for this keyboard. It was a bait and switch deal the photo and text is for the HP 505060-371 but forget it a HP QD949AA keyboard was in the box. It apparently was sold overseas and the only downloads are in other languages.

AMAZON DO YOU CHECK THE THINGS YOU SENT ON BEHALF OF SOME OUTFIT THAT DOES NOT PROVIDE THE ITEM ADVERTIZED AND DISPLAYED?

My original HP keyboard starting showing signs of wear, after a few years of use.
I wanted an identical replacement, so I could still control the speaker volume with
the special controls on the keyboard. I was pleased to see this unit available for
such a good price.

It was pretty obvious to me that this item is no where near the quality of the original
keyboard...it just does not have the solid feel of the original HP keyboard. Also, after
a couple of months, the most commonly used keys became a bit "sticky"...but, it is still
working...just have to make sure to hit the keys with a solid push.

picture is not correct. No volume control keys/buttons on the one I received. I received just a plain "slim" HP keyboard. I feel the description and price was a total misrepresentation. I have yet to hook it up to see if it really works
