This book provides a wealth of theoretical and clinical information for a clinician such

as myself. More important, however, is the brilliant and original scheme the authors

have developed to actually quantify the positive elements in an individual therapeutic

transaction. Their innovative and repliquable method should be of immense interest

to researchers and teachers. This important work merits wide readership!
