This is an excellent beginner radio controlled plane. It's easy to fly (compared to everything else I've tried, Super Cub, Yellow Bee) and fairly durable considering it's made of foam. The fact that the propeller is in the back saves a lot of damage.

You can get different versions of this, from complete ready-to-fly to kits that you can use your own transmitter/receiver, servos, etc. I got the kit version and used my own brushless motor, which was overkill. At full throttle the thing was headed for outer space. So once airborne the motor is now usually at near idle to keep from going up too high.

This is the only plane I've ever successfully hand launched (which is necessary since it has no wheels). That's good since you don't need a smooth takeoff runway. Landings just need relatively clear area.

Overall I'm impressed. The only thing that's somewhat annoying is that you have to use expensive super glue and accelerator to make any repairs on the foam.

I have just started RC flying. So far I have about 4 hours of flying under my belt. This plane was built for beginners. It is stable and easy to fly. It is durable, I haven't really crashed it, but I have had a couple of hard landings. I have seen others crash this same model with little or no damage. I am using this plane to train with until I can move up to more complex planes. I love it.
